Not today. It's because phpbb 2 isn't support anymore and doesn't go along with the new db structure. Close yes not today tho but you can still read threads and posts. Don't worry tho you got time still to post here. Snooty can't back this one up anymore because it's to big the new one 1 click and it's done in 5mins and has logs so if a mod goes off the deep end proof is there. You can stay here nobody will force you. Just this isn't support anymore since a newer version is out and has newer features and support to stop spambots

Once it's closed no you can't post. Most problems are solved on the new forum by ways of logs so all the deleting, editing, drama, etc are logged for mods to deal with. It's more member base. Once it's closed or not supported when host updates the db it's gone but you can read posts. Who knows when. Reason why everybody is starting fresh with phpbb3. Say if the host updated the db mysql then we couldn't access our accounts anymore so therefor we can't login. But who knows when many hosts are doing it now because of spambots, flaws, etc. Just put it this way it's more laid back there and no drama yet and members are soo much involved now and mods are more like members now until a member reports something. There's measures in place to stop a lot of things that can't be done here

But without support, if the forum breaks and Snooty doesn't know how to fix it, then it stays broken. Which could easily mean we couldn't use or see the forum anymore.

True dat. It seems a bit selfish to want the forum to stay bloated and unmanageable because you don't want to move to the new place. XD

I don't really care, but i just wish all the threads were still around to read, since lots of good ones were completely deleted :'[

That's why they're moving, so threads don't randomly disappear. In addition to other things. XD

So if it's a person or glitch it's solved on the new forum because every post that gets deleted are marked and can be resurrected to a point ^^ Nobody really knows what/who is doing it because no proof on this forum. Just people accusing. Because people don't want their posts deleted for unkown reasons. So if the forum its to big on db it can delete "very old" posts but something deleted newer posts per say. It happened right after Snooty removed me because I wanted him to so I can prove to a mod but within minutes more got deleted that whole day in areas I don't control So you can say it's a mod or glitch but new forum you can't say anything Snooty reads logs finds out restores thread and kicks mod out the door
