Somebody is hidden. Wish there was a way to see "who" like "hidden" when you click their name or something lol but oh wells

Everything on the forum for me, text, sigs, smilies, etc... just shrunk to like, size 8 font and I can't find a way to change it back!

In the User Control Panel, under Board preferences, have you made sure Hide my online status: is set to No? Be sure to log out and then in again if changing this setting.

You've probably already done this, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.

I tried it. Then I got it to work a little while later... I decided to keep it in hidden though, I'm on way to much anyways.

In the TS3 forum (maybe others) the Author and Replies columns are mixed up.

This is what I'm seeing.Whenever I try to reply to a post or edit I get page cannot be displayed in about a second.Sometimes even clicking on a post causes this.If I reply and this message pops up my post isn't saved.I hope this is fixed very soon.This is happening quite randomly and very often.It's also happening on the test forum.

That cannot be fixed. It's happening because of the overwhelming amount of people visiting the site. I'm sure it'll lessen once the game is released.

^ Despite everyone saying this, I doubt it'll happen. Instead we'll have hundreds of new topics a day going "ZOMG LOOK WAT I FOUND!!!!!!!1!!!!!11!!!", and eventually Snooty or one of you Admins'll need to lock the Sims 3 discussion and have pre-set topics where you can only reply to them.

I'm not sure if you can do anything about this, but often when trying to go to pages I get a "Page cannot be desplayed" message.

If I am trying to post a message this makes it so it isn't posted, and when i press back the message is gone.

This can be very frustrating when I lose very long messages which I have put a lot of thought into.

Yes, I have come across this problem. I think it's because the site is so busy lately? I'm not sure if there is anything that can be done about it

This has already been addressed by Kira. In fact it was posted by her in on this very page... Two posts above you as a matter of fact, CMFinley94. I don't see how you could have missed it. (See quote below)

The way I understand it, it doesn't really have so much to do with the amount of topics but instead the number of users and guests on the site. So even if we had pre-set topics it wouldn't make much of a difference.

But yes again to the latest posts in here... you're getting the page cannot be displayed error because of the load on the site. I'm guessing you two, CMFinley94 and Lauren, are using IE? I'm using firefox and even when a page fails to load I refresh and what I typed is still there. In any case, if you post up a huge post I'd just copy it in case. That way if it does fail you just have to copy/paste your reply.

1) site is overloaded in bandwidth (ask snooty to check the site meter logs so if something can be done we can help)
2) site needs less coding to load in browser (compress the coding on forum, or is site + forum?)
3) your browser/pc is loaded with stuff (get rid of addons, background updaters, etc)
4) your are downloading files or using your bandwith (Close your torrent, donkey, etc)
5) maybe your isp/dns servers (check their status)
6) maybe it's just so busy at the exact time (try another day or hr)
7) maybe its that so many topics are here so forum loads slower so reply whenever possible within rules
8) maybe it's just the internet 56k you using (upgrade to 20$ fios)
