I'm waiting for word from Snooty on a back-up (that's where the "loooong time" comes into it) before I even consider starting a new one. Or posting anything worthy of note, for that matter. That's why I was hardly ever heard from for weeks after last time.
I don't mind if someone else starts an Awkward Advent Alternative, it's already been done (Shadowsim's, Erhama's, even Justin had one - deleted, I think) though I'd appreciate it if you didn't pass it off as a direct sequel.

I'm pretty paranoid about anything at this forum now, so I'm very reluctant to start a new one in case I'm setting myself up to lose even more of what I, and everyone else, have put so much effort into. But I'll probably bring it back quite soon. I've kept noting down challenge ideas almost absent-mindedly since, it's sort of instinctive now.
(I was never sure of the necessity of this thread when the actual AAC was free for discussion and questioning within it, but at least it proves it existed in the first place...)
