The Sims Medieval Pirates & Nobles announced!
EA have just announced at their Summer Showcase the first expansion adventure pack for The Sims Medieval, Pirates & Nobles. I think it looks pretty neat myself! More info

I guess maybe because I didn't follow / play The Sims Medieval, but I didn't see any difference from the base game. Can someone put it in stupid terms?

Re: The Sims Medieval Pirates & Nobles announced!
Lol, this looks pretty bad. EA will probably release one or two packs and then forget all about it, like they did with Spore. Until the 2014 sci-fi revamp, DarkMedieval.
From the info there the only major new stuff in it seems to be treasure hunting and pets. Did anyone else realise that this will be the third adventure-related first EP in the Maxis/EA games? I hope that the inclusion of falcons and parrots as pets in this game means that they were copied over from TS3, which would mean we might get birds as well. And not those crappy parrots we had in TS2, something that you can interact with properly.

It's not like an expansion pack which is why some people seem a bit confused or iffy about it. It's what they're calling an adventure pack and is midway between a stuff pack and an expansion pack in terms of content and gameplay. It's not a full on addition like an EP is, but has new gameplay and more content than an SP would include. Will be cheaper as such too apparently.
