Don't you mean just EA? Maxis aren't a part of Sims anymore, and that's what went wrong, I guess.

Sims 2 for lyfe!

Sims 3 sucks! DX

I still pay the sims 2. I had uninstalled the game for the sims 3 thinking I wouldn't go back to ts2, but was i mistaken. So I reinstalled the sims 2 back on my laptop. I did a total reverse, I thought I wouldn't have been able to play the sims 2, but I was wrong. I can still play It and I've rarely been playing the sims 3. I just get bored quickly when i play it.

Haha, same. Except I didn't un-install, I just moved my saved game files to my portable harddrive... After about a month I got fed up and gave in to Sims 2 and moved them back.

Now I rarely play Sims 3.

Lately Sims 3 has been boring me a lot lately. The game also feels to easy, a little predictable, and for some reason it lacks witty humor (please tell me I'm not the only one who noticed that). I actually think Fears added a little more depth to the characters just dealing with wants.

So, yeah, I've been playing Sims 2 more lately.

I am still playing it, but I am too getting bored with it. I am probably going to buy the Sims3, but I am in no hurry to install it. I like to play a family legacy type game, and so far, I am out to the 5th generation of my family.

Hence my name, I still play Sims 2!

I bought Sims 3 the first week it came out, played it for about a day, got bored of it and went back to Sims 2. I recently tried again to play Sims 3 but after just 10 min, ( also the forever loading time ) I chucked Sims 3 forever and enjoy Sims 2. I'm soooo glad I didn't change my name to Sims3rmylife, cause that would be such a lie. XD

I did the same. After playing The Sims 3 for a couple of months, I realised how much better The Sims 2 is.

Today I reread my favourite sims 2 story and listened to the theme music. I kind of wanted to play it again - only I'm quite sure that if I did I wouldn't enjoy it because there is no open n-hood, no cast and so many other things are missing. Still, after all this nostalgia I just couldn't bring myself to play sims 3.

Hehehehhe! I still play! I just got a new laptop, with windows 7, and now ts2 is super kick ass


ts3 never really intersted me. I don't want to buy it, but I am curious about it...


I just love 1s2 too much to just chuck it away. The game i feel was the best they could of ever made. After Maxis left, I noticed the packs got more buggy, and less "complete" but they still that had charm and feel.

i just feel like EA chruned out ts3 because their crack pile was running low.

After playing TS3 since it came out (not continuously, by any means), I think I'll go back to TS2 for the most part. I liked the families there better, think all the Sims are more attractive, and I miss the genetics and all the things the expansion packs provided, like weather, pets, and so on. Plus I have such a boatload of awesome custom content for TS2.

I'm still playing. X-Mas is coming up, then my birthday shortly after, so I plan to get University Life, Best of Business, Seasons, and maybe even pets, fairly soon.

Since I never got all of the eps for the sims 2 & since i've never played the sims 2 with all the eps installed. I'm planning on buying BV & FT (the last 2 eps i need), then im planning on reinstalling all my sims 2 eps. I also have the sims 3 installed along with the ep & sp for it (even though I dont play it as much as I play the sims 2). So right now since i've never played all the sims 2 eps I have a lot to look forward to and have a lot more to explore in the sims 2. I also overall enjoy the sims 2 a bit more cause it has that same classic feeling like the sims 1 had. However both games IMO are good. I just like the sims 2 a little bit more hehe

I played a few weeks ago. I reinstalled, downloaded a BUNCH of CC and played. I got to the 3rd gen. being YAs. I built them a really awesome dorm and then I got bored. I don't know what happened because I was having a blast with them. Perhaps I'll return to them so I won't uninstall this time.

I still play a lot in fact. I have almost every ep installed and some stuff packs too.

I play sims 3 about once every few weeks. It just doesn't inspire me to get on and play every day like sims 2. I'm reinstalling ts2 and EPs right now.

I know the loading screens suck, and it might be weird to go back to the original CAS, but I really think I just like TS2 more.

I surprisingly still play TS1 along with TS3

I've recently started playing TS2 again and looooove it. That being said, I never got TS3... I'm just too attached to all of my "stories" in TS2. I decided that, if, by the time I'm "done" all of my "stories" of TS2 and I still actively play TS2 (meaning, if I ever do finish what I want to do with the game, lol), then I'll get TS3. Until then, I'm keeping TS2!

Btw, for those who do still play TS1... I miss it so much!! I really only wanna play Superstar and Makin' Magic... I'm thinking of reinstalling on my sister's computer. Thoughts? =S haha.

I'd play if I could and I'll put them on my new pc when it comes which is very soon. I have all the EPs and stuff packs. I have an itch to play the pre-mades from OFB. I haven't done anything with the business side of the game since I first got OFB. I think it would add a good challenge to the game that could keep me from getting bored with it for awhile.
