Ooh la la... Mortimers hair! I always wanted his hair. I really don't know why they really had to remove his and Darleens hair. But then again, Darleens hair was just a slightly thicker version of that short, messy and wavy hair.
It's cool that people are starting to find those hidden accessories, but if only it was when most of us were actually still playing TS2.
I completely remember trying to play with Lyla Grunt too. She always freaked me out but she never glitched up that bad. The first time I played her she just showed up with the long straight hair, then she disappeared, and I never bothered trying to play with her again. Her face was the same as her picture though.

I'm a little confused with this Mortimer thing. Where did you find this picture? It doesn't look like an official Maxis picture. o__O



You mean Dina's hair? (The blond one) Nina has the red hair - and I think that's the short and messy hair in the game.
And with Pascals glasses, are they same as Alexander Goths? Because I always thought you could just trick CAS and put those glasses on a child sim, then age the sim back to an adult and he'll still have the glasses.

Lyla Grunt turned out fine for you? Did you try changing her appearance? If you change her appearance a few times, her face messes up, I should know, I've done it a few days ago because of my Pleasantview vs Strangetown project thing. xD

That's not Mortimer and Bella either... Those are fakes! They were probably created by someone with low quality settings on. And Bella has tanned skin and always has. The pic has fake versions of Mortimer and Bella, probably to portray what they looked like in Sims 1. It didn't really work that well, except Mortimer's suit.

Nina's hair is just the short and messy hair with a little lighting added to it... And Dina's hair is similar to the longest toddler female hair... Maybe they just pulled that hair out for all ages except toddlers because it didn't look that good on other ages? I have that hair converted, it's somewhere on MTS2.

Alexander Goth and Pascal Curious's glasses are the same, but I think they're hidden for all ages except children for some reason, while the female version shows up for all ages except toddler. Maybe it's just a little glitch, I'm sure someone probably organized the bin back into place.

Also, has anyone noticed Romeo Monty's hair? That's not in any of the bins either in CAS! I think it's supposed to be deleted... But they forgot to take it off Romeo... Weird, huh?

About Lyla Grunt... I really don't remember. XD I just remember at the time thinking "Wow, her data must be mucked or something" because I just had a suspicion something was wrong with her. I think I might have tried putting her in bodyshop too, but crashed of course. Otherwise I only tried playing with her sim in game at the Grunt house like, twice. I would have seriously freaked out if I saw her face corrupting though. I have a phobia of corrupted sims ahhhh.
She looks like she has some serious botched lip surgery in those pictures.

The longest toddler hair? Show me a pic of it! I think I know what you're talking about. I just now noticed that it probably is Darleens/Dinas/etc's hair converted!
Mind you all I'm merely judging by memory.

Edit: Hm, I just randomly found a Maxis picture of a toddler with what I think is the longest toddler hair. I don't think it's the same as Dina's, as the hair is more smooth and straight. It was a cute hairstyle too. They even used it on the Life Stories cover even though it wasn't in the game, apparently. Bahhh.

Even this chick had it! Even though it's an ancient art pic, back when TS2 sims were meant to look a little bit like TS1 sims... But it was still used with the newer promotions when the game first came out. I guess they just took it out because it's pretty much the same hair as the short, messy hairstyle - just with flatter ends.

The teenagers looked more mature too! Their expressions weren't as cartoony.
Yes, I loved that family, and yes, that guy has Morty's old hair. Every time I tried remaking him I never knew what hairstyle to give him. But you can get that pigtailed hair with Boolprop...

I am not sure. There was something about those version of screenshots that was different. For one, i think the animations/meshes were more leaning towards TS1, the lighting does look different, and i know what you mean when you say more realistic, but it almost looks like this was before they made it macho cartoony. I liked those screenies.

A lot of the content I saw; Clothes and Hair. were pulled from The Sims online.
But it seems before release they dropped a lot of content and changed things.

I kind of wonder what our Sims 2 would have been like, if they hadn't toned it down.
It did look to have better lighting, and many other things.
I still miss the Sims 2 Trailer but there was no way they'd allow a women to strip her top off.
Though I was hoping the sofa woohoo would have stayed.
Just because that video was so funny.

Yeah, I kind of wanted that version to make it to be Sims 2. DX But who knows, we might not have humor in the game, which I love! :3

The teens looked so real! DX I miss them! And that teen party picture had LOADS of missing hair in it!... I wonder what happened to those sims they created... Did they delete the neighborhood due to it being to BETA? I loved the look of that neighborhood, it should of made it as an official one. DX I guess it's probably where all the BETA sims are who never made it into the game...

Wouldn't be surprised if there is hidden n'hoods.

Oh, there is hidden neighborhoods already, where do you think the townies and NPC's live?

But I don't think the neighborhood with all the pre-made sims who didn't make it is available... They deleted it, probably.

Umm, transvestites are people who wear the opposite's sex clothes. Those are cases of sims who look like women are actually men. So I do not think that title suits the situation to be honest. Thats more like... Shemales.....

VERY bugged sims. It's probably better if you edit them out in SimPE by changing their gender and ages. :x Luc Smith also has an adult male voice and he is a teen male. And Patrick Jones looks nothing like his real self. I wonder why Olive did such things to her victims. o-o Really freaky. DX
