Now here's a question... whatever happened to those 2 girls in TS1? The Roomies. Chris and Melissa Roomies, I believe. Were they lesbian? Sisters? Or just plain roomates? Why didn't they make it into TS2? Could they of had a relationship with Michael before they moved/died?

They probably didn't want to offend the fanatical christian groups with the idea of a potentially lesbian couple.

Most users tend to be mothers who would probably be against it. Who knows, maybe EA was just lazy.

I think it was a combination of possible offensive material, and EA being too lazy to find a way around it. Were there lesbians in TS1? I know there were in TS2..

All of the sims series has allowed same sex marriages.

Of course, it HAS to be 'joined union'...

I don't see why they didn't just go along and make same sex couples... The people who hate them can go and rant up their own asses. At least in Sims 3 there's a suspected gay person. :/

But I think I may have found them in the trailer for TS2: H&M, well at least their console counterparts. If you still have TS1 on your PS2, Xbox or Gamecube, compare Chris and Melissa to these sims:


The two sets of sims are eerily similar.

Melissa needs her hair up though. And it needs to be brown. DX I remade them as elders in my new series, and they married and had a kid who had a kid.

I never played as them in TS1. They seemed kinda boring to me but I did think that they could have been lesbians..

You know, I don't remember them at all. XD I'm pretty sure I probably never played them. I only recall playing the Goths, the Newbies and Michael Bachelor.

Well.. They were (Probably)lesbian.
Maybe they died of old age and never thought of adoption or somethingg

or maybe they where honestly just roomates? sometimes things are more innocent then our minds perceive

yeah sometimes I remake them as deceased sims and make them married off to others/to eachother in Sims 2 with their descendants living, but alot of the time I forget about them. ):

Ginia Kat, and a few others have been left out too.

I suspect Tara Kat from the Pets EP was related to Ginia though, it just wasn't shown in the family tree.

I thought the 'Kat' lady made it into TS2 Pets, No?
