I have a few sim owned restaurants, and I usually get the same chef: Emily Graham.

She burns food almost all of the time! She has full bars in cooking since with the use of the insim I was able to select her and make her playable.


What the hell do I do? The owner has nine points in cooking, I simply don't know what to do with her! She burns most of my food, and it really aggravates me! I can't level up ever since the food always come black!

Now that's racist! Just joking, anyways you could always delete the sim from SimPE and have the game re-generate the sim?

I wouldn't even know how to go about doing that! Is there another way to do this?

I ended up buying two more stoves. I generated two new male chefs, and they STILL burn the food. Is it because my business is only a level 2?

That could be it. I've never made a restaurant business, so I'm not sure. But there's always some things that will improve at higher levels. Please continue playing the restaurant and let us know how it's going!

Before entering the household/family that owns the restauraunt, open up the cheat menu. Type in "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true". Then enter the household. Find the Sims who keep burning food, but NOT AT WORK. Invite them to your house or something, just not while they're working or it won't work. Shift+click the Sim(s) that keeps burning food. Click "Make Selectable" (it might be in all caps). Now play that Sim. Go to the career/skills panel, and drag the cooking skill all the way up. If she keeps burning food I would kill her, haha. To kill her you can shift+click her when she's doing NOTHING and press "Kill" then "Give Dead Token". In about an hour she will die. Or you could shift+click any person, click "Spawn..." then "Rodney's Death Creator". Make her selectable, click the death creator, and kill her how you like.

This thread is over half a year old, I'm pretty sure it was resolved.
