Soooooooo.... This may come as a strange story to some, but hear me out.

In one of my 'hoods, Jason Larson is gay. He got married to one of my sims, Isaak. Jodi is an interpretive dancer, and lives with them in their very nice house.

I thought it would be cool (And this does happen in real life) to "inseminate" Jodi with Isaak and have her be their surrogate. Once she has the baby, I'd move her out. However, that means that Jason wouldn't be the father in the kid's tree, but rather the uncle.

I'm going to go and assume if I try to attach Jason to the unborn baby's tree, while keeping Jodi, that'll break my game, right?

Backup before you try it, that's all I'm gonna say.

Well, the problem isn't Jodi being the surrogate. I can easily change the family tree by just loading up SimPe. I don't need to have her take the baby away. She's living in the same house as them.

The problem is... I sort of want her to recognize on her family tree that this baby is hers, but I want both Jason and Isaak to have themselves as the parents too! So it would be.... three people attaching to this baby.

Is that possible? Or am I off my rocker?

Really? It'll work that way? Because I don't want poor Jason to just be the kid's uncle. He is his legal father, ya know?
