I tried to install the patch, but got this error.

You probably have a file that's replaced an original, vanilla-game installation file.

You have two choices now, either uninstall or find out if the file has replaced an original file of if it's another file that was added that isn't replacing a file.

I figured out it anyway. I downloaded the wrong patch. I got the super patch and it worked.

But it still won't let me install it.

You need to decrapify the file, drag the Sims3Pack file over the decrapify executable, once extracted of course, and a cmd window will open, once it just closes itself, the S3Pack file is repacked to work with any computer. Try installing it again after that.

I assume this executable is available at MATY?

s3rc.exe extracts the .Sims3Pack file as .package files, separated.

And I have noooo idea, I haven't tested the lot in my game yet... I'll go do that now and report back.

and it will work properly again.
