Post De-authorize this machine???
OK, what the :censored: is 'de-authorize this machine' doing on the launcher (in the update page). I thought the only kind of authorization they were doing for TS3 is a cd-check.

What if I want MY Sims 3 game on my 2 computers?

I don't like this... Anyone tell me more?

Really? I didn't see that :(

Well, usually it allows for up to 5 computers.

The Sims 2 has limitless installations. It's not fair if they didn't do it in the Sims 3 too. I suspect there is something more than a plain dvd protection and an activation code! I'm sorry but I think EA has fooled the buyers.

It's actually really simple you can choose to authorize up to 5 different computers, they can then run without the dvd/cd in the drive, you can deauthorize if you decide to uninstall from that computer so that you can reininstall it on a different one. I read it somewhere a few days back and it came directly from the people of EA themselfs.

Yeah.. what CyberOps said. You can only install it on 5 computers, and if you use up your 5 installs, you need to de-authorise an install before you can install it on a 6th computer.
