EDIT again (lol): *sighs* i tried the apple thing with my sims thats pregnant, she is the one thats been having all these girls. it didn't work it seems, my sim ended up with another girl...and then another one. they were twins i'm conivinced she can't have boys at all, or maybe it's her husband's fault, i don't know. all i see is they're on their 6th child and no boy in sight.

 Re: Complaint Department: Got one?
Got a few:
I was surprised by the amount of points needed to purchase things in the store The graphics- I don't like the hair- it doesn't move and it looks fake; like a wig just plonked on the sim! My sims icons keep changing from how the are now- elder- to toddler!
I know it's a base game so wasn't expecting LOADS of things, but I thought since it's a new game it would be different from The Sims 1 & 2 in terms of gameplay, but it just seems to be the same (apart from the fantastic neighbourhood and having fat sims!).

If your sim doesn't kiss the father during pregnancy she's more likely to have a girl. Also, you need to have at least 3 apples, not just one, and meals with apples in them don't count. 3 watermelons will make you have a girl, so maybe that's the problem.

 Re: Complaint Department: Got one?
I'm disappointed at no half-walls. In TS2, I often used them to form the border of my kitchen.

 Re: Complaint Department: Got one?
Left-clicking vs. right-clicking wishes. In TS2, you right-clicked a want to lock it, but it's the opposite in TS3 and I keep discarding wishes I want to save. Why make it the opposite?

Why make it the opposite? I know, I've done that quite a few times too. I wish they hadn't changed it but I'm getting the hang of it now.

 Re: Complaint Department: Got one?
That is why everyone is screaming for the Neighborhood Tool. Yeah, everyone says go back to The Sims 2 then, But they did take a step back with the Neighborhoods with that.
I guess my Complaints are as Listed.
The open neighborhood is nice, but it feels like it's missing Aspects. The First EP doesn't seem appealing, It's just a Vacation Rehash. The Visa Level aspect of the New EP sounds like it will be annoying, Having to constantly work it up doing adventures just to live in the new areas.
I miss the Baby/Toddler Aspects that were Cute from Sims 2. I wish Patterns would load up faster, And the fact you have to wait for it to drop to the bottom to your current Pattern is annoying as well. I think they could have done a better job with the traits, Yeah they combined a few that felt similar. But I think they should have left it the other way. As I have stated in other threads. Worrywart and Neurotic are two Different Things. [/rant]

 Re: Complaint Department: Got one?
Its a step back to, in the end, take a huge step forward. Its like, downgrading for an upgrade. They Sacrificed movable lots for us to make it so that we can make out own neighborhoods in the future.
