Re: What Do You Believe Happens When You Die?
I believe exactly what science hypothesises... well sort of. Apparently, when we die, our brain produces chemicals which cause odd things to happen. For example, life flashing before ones eyes, or meeting dead relatives, even out-of-body experiences, this explains why people who have had Near-Death-Experiences have different "afterlives". Then, now for my opinion, we dream a lucid dream in which we are alive, then at the end of that life, we die in the dream and the process starts again, though in the living world, a "dream life" last seconds then we dissapear form the living world though continue in the "dream life" which then becomes the living world... that makes sense I swear!

Re: What Do You Believe Happens When You Die?
i don't believe in conscious reincarnation, but i do believe in reincarnation, in a way. i guess i see lives like waves in an ocean. when waves crash on a beach it looks like they slam and die on the shore, but the only thing that really changes is your perception of waves being separate. the water is still there after the waves crash, it gets pulled back into the ocean and forms new waves that eventually crash and die again, too. it's easy to be pessimistic and see the waves perpetually dying on the shore as something pointless and evidence of the futility of life or something, but it's not. it's another natural cycle, like people living and dying and eventually coming back again, just in a different form. does that make sense?
