You know, there is a proper forum for direct links to other sites called the "Other Places" Forum.

Make a topic there, and post updates there.

But I'm not advertising my site. I'm bringing sims 3 news. I thought news of The Sims 3 Store would be big! Obviously, this community isn't that nice.

It's the same as the sims 2 store. You load up money into the site then download pieces of maxis/ea made content for "points" I'm not sure the money to point exchange rate.

It's like buying a nintento point card for the wii or a microsoft point card for the 360.

Offtopic: The title of this thread is reminiscent of 'The red coats are coming!' At first you're like "Oh really..?" then it sinks in and you think "Oh " The whole sims 2 store idea reminds me of those free2play mmorpgs and their item store.. badly done, EA.

Offtopic: Lets get one thing cleared up. You post a thread, a thread in which information is supposed to be. Although to our suprise, all there is a link directed to another website with the information. That being said, what is the point in this thread? - Nothing.

And if this thread is one thing - It's Spam. Proposing people to another website, with nothing else is known as Spam.

The title is a little dissapointing, I mean there isn't any proof... not really. It MAY come, it MAY.

I am not fond of the store, IDK why but I didn't really like it to begin with. But if there was it isn't a big deal, but there isn't any proof eitherway so it doesn't matter to me.

It's said that on Amazon for quite some time. I've seen a lot of threads about it on the Sims 2 forum.

Offtopic: It does kind of bother me when I open a thread and there's nothing but a link to your website (and there's a lot of threads like that), especially when I go to your link and it says the information came from another fansite. You should probably just link to the original information, or put the information in the actual thread instead of just a bunch of threads that link to your website. Sorry, I'm not trying to be mean, and you have a great site.

Eugh, I hate The Sims Store, just another way to get us to spend money on "exclusive" objects.
I am always suckered into wanting these because I'm obsessive compulsive and have a need to be completist with The Sims. Luckily I don't have The Sims Store so I'm OK.

You're lucky then because apparently some of the content is crap or doesn't work how it's suppose to. Hopefully they'll actually care about the stuff they put up for The Sims 3 Store.

I have all EPs and most SPs, but somehow I've managed to pretty much stay away from the Sims 2 Store. I don't really even look at it now, and the Sims 3 store will probably be the same way for me unless they have some really amazing object I can't live without. I just hope that if they decide to make stuff packs for Sims 3, they will have cd versions and not go straight to the Store. That's the only thing I'm concerned about.

I've probably liked a total of three items on the sims store. I really find it to be a rip off. Its not where i wish to spend my money.

You know what they should do, they should have a points system. And you can buy points with real money if you want, or you can earn points other ways and use points to buy stuff from the store. Lots of other sites do that.

Just an idea I pulled from my rear, but it is probably done somewhere.

Like for example, if someone puts videos/items/styles/sims on the exchange they get points to spend on new officially created items, blah blah... Or maybe every hundred posts on the BBS you get some.
It would be interesting, but I highly doubt they would pull away from the cash option, especially if they are actually making money off it. Hehe, which absolutely sucks for me, because I know I am going to get suckered in baaddd if they do a TS3 Store.
