My god this is getting so expensive! I'm really trying to resist the MATY link.

 Re: New Store Stuff
Would it be against the Forum rules to ask how to get the MATY TS3 Store items? All of them, even the new ones? If so then. Pardon I asked. Purely curious.
But I'm half tempted not to bother. Even though EA is money hunger I'd feel guilty.

 Re: New Store Stuff
Eh, Feck it. I tried looking through that thread, half of it doesn't make sense. That and you have to get some other thingie to make sure the files will work. And it's just too much hassle. Why can't EA just stick to the Stuff pack method.

 Re: New Store Stuff
Well, it isn't really that hard to download the stuff and the tool to fix the files.
I guess I could upload what I have as of now.

 Re: New Store Stuff
No worries.
Also, Offtopic but does anyone remember on average we got from stuff packs. Item wise. Full price and how many items. Because I'm sure it still evens up more than what we pay for the sets on that store.

 Re: New Store Stuff
I like most of the items in the new set, and the new hairs and clothes are always tempting. I have 2000 points from buying cards at Best Buy when they were $5 but I can't decide if I should use the points or wait for MATY. I know I won't be wasting them on the furniture...

 Re: New Store Stuff
Sorry for removing the link guys. You know the rules But I am sure you can find MATY. On another note, the recompressor tool is REALLY easy to use, so if your goin to the dark (MATY) side, just download it, read about it, and learn! Its quite simple really. Oh yeah, and your cookies will be sent in the mail shortly after you join.

 Re: New Store Stuff
I see the cash nazis at EA decided they wanted to milk their customers out of more of their money. Oh well, at least we have MATY.

 Re: New Store Stuff
Front page of Snooty: "The Sims3 Store has updated with a completely new set called the "Ultra Lounge" set. Get 50 items for 19 dollars. Or, if you're unlucky and need to buy them in Euros, the price is 23 Euros ($32,-). There are also a few new hairstyles and clothes, which ofcourse are not in this set. As you may have noticed, I'm not that exited about this store and though as a newsreporter I need to stay objective, I believe these prices are totally ridiculous."
First off, does EA not have a calculator? Do they not know euros are more valuable than dollars? Or is this another example of so-called "positive price discrimination"? Ie. you charge the customer whatever they're willing to pay, or what tickles your fancy?
Anyway, 19$ is rediculous. Charging people 32$ because they're european instead of american... that's just a damned insult. And now even Snooty has made a negative comment about something EA has done I really think hell is freezing over and fans are starting to see EA for what they are... greedy asses who bought the Sims brand and are exploiting it to keep their stupid overblown company alive.

 Re: New Store Stuff
Well, this just does it for me. There is absolutely no way I am spending a single euro in their store, and that is final. They really ought to be ashamed of themselves. They should focus on fixing everything that doesnt work in the game instead of making new stuff and objecting their poor customers to the blatant daylight robbery that is TS3 store.

 Re: New Store Stuff
I'll probably get the expansions as well, but I'm not getting anything from the store... no way. And Sims 3 really needs more core game content. Besides building stuff there isn't really that much to do although they've tried to keep us busy in various ways, the "missions" really become repetitive as well.

 Re: New Store Stuff
It really is shocking how much the store costs, I know alot of people say just not to buy from it but that's not the point, I don't think many of us can just stop wanting them can we?

 Re: New Store Stuff
It's like being shown a really sweet candy behind a case thats overpriced. I really like the ultra lounge set but no way am I spending that much. I could get more content from buying a book cheaper than that.
