There's a rumour starting to float about the next expansion will be Superstar, remember we had that for The sims 1?

It's pretty vague and could mean anything but I thought it would be something to look out for just in case.

I really hope its not true. I want an EP to improve the daily lives of my sims, not make my game more fanciful and sensational.

No, the sims3 is fine, I don't like EA though. If they come out with a superstar EP, I wouldn't buy it. I'm waiting for seasons, pets, and business, then I'll think about buying an EP

I remeber in ts2, the best part about getting an EP was looking at the leaflet telling me the next one!! haha.

That wouldn't be too bad, would it? At least definitely more exciting than adventures to me. It would be rather odd though, because seems like everyone wants pets and seasons - why don't they just give us pets and seasons? Still, it's nothing but a rumour right now.

Hmmm... I hope it's just a rumor. I'm with Little-V, I'd like to see a couple of EPs that improve and change a the Sim's daily lives instead of adventure and Hollywood and things like that.

Sometimes they announce the next EP with an insert in the current one... I wonder if there will be anything like that with WA?

No!!! I want weather so bad. Taking sims on crazy Indiana Jones style adventures and making them crazy celebrities....not my idea of fun.

A superstar-themed EP would be fine with me. (I want acting and modeling to be careers in TS3.) I was hoping for pets first, though.

I'm with Little V and Lola, I want things that make their day to day lives more exciting!
Like we've said - they sometimes put a leaflet in the box, that might clear peoples rumoring heads a little

For me it would depend to what extent a sim would become a celebrity, and how many celebrities would you expect to find in one neighourhood. I wouldnt enjoy an EP which turned the whole place into Hollywood, unless of course the EP came with Hollywood as an additional location.

I think the EP could be done quite well though, the game has advanced so much since the original game that there is so much more which can be done this time round.

I'm fine with this EP, as to the fact that I thought up a 'superstar'-ish idea.

Whatever the idea for the next Expansion, I will buy it, I can't help it, Im a sims addict.

Superstars would be a lame idea for TS3.
You can make as many superstars as you want in CAS, we need bars and clubs, shopping malls, more objects, weather, animals...

That's a great idea. I'd buy it. A Sim Hollywood! Simmywood! With acting as a career choice. I'd love that. I'd want it to be a new neighborhood, as well, so my Sunset Valley would not change.

A Hollywood destination neighborhood would be hard to do without a Nightlife style EP. There wouldn't be any point to a neighborhood like that unless it had clubs and restaurants and things of the sort. Not just a recording studio.

i demand pets, seasons, business and h&m, really want that in my sims 3

Me too, I cant fully enjoy the Sims3 without pets. There's a huge void when they're not there. And I would always play the seasons the way they were in real time. I'd play in fall during the fall, I'd have snow around christmas time, and blistering sun in the summer. Now it's just like summer 24/7 in the game. Of course I loose some interest now in the fall when I want to see the trees all colorful and leaves everywhere, yet its still default summer in the game.
