Anyone else having issues after installing this patch? I was playing last night with no problems but now after updating, the game crashes while loading a save. I currently don't have any mods.

Edit: Restarting my computer seemed to have fixed the problem. Possibly wasn't Sims related.

*face palms* Once again EA adds pointless features and doesn't address the current bugs. Seriously though? Relationships with their cars? I guess there are those car nuts that always address their cars as "her" or "she" and sometimes even give them names... but I find it dumb

Yeah there are those people who go crazy with that kind of thing. Dating your cars.. umm I don't think they have compatiblity. (I think I might of spelled that wrong) I guess it goes with the car theme. But other more essential things would be nice.

I don't really care about the car relationship and don't think we needed that but they should have added a talk about car and compliment car interaction.

I think this patch will render the game unplayable for me. Not because of the bugs which do it all the time, but because I detest the idea of car relationships. I actually abhor it.

Not much of a choice, seeing that it'll be part of any future patches you ever download, unless you don't plan on installing any more EP/SPs. It's not like you can skip one and expect previous features to not be there

I'm guessing these are 'features' that come with Fast lane, as we got a patch when WA came out that gave us pagoda rooves, and when AMB came out, tatoos.
They're basically trying to give you a little 'taster' of fast lane, really quite laughable, as I wouldn't want that feature if they paid me to have it on my game.

Thankfully a mod was just released that prevents relationships with cars for normal sims. The modding community saves us once again
