EA is doing gaming surveys on http://www.vgmarket.com/ about upcoming Expansion and it seems we finally will get what we wanted for so long! :)

Yesterday it was a survey about a Seasons expansion pack. Check the screenshots in the spoiler:

All this sounds amazing! im sold with the Seasons, Farming, Vacation and University Ep i want them so bad!! The farming Ep sounds fantastic i have always wanted that since Sims 2 and i thought they would do that with Sims 3 Pets but well you now how that turned out to be xD And the TV show and the Billionaire Ep sounds boring, the Tv show Ep sounded like Showtime/ Late night and i don't want anymore celebrity shit in my game. and the billionairel ep i don't know what i should say about that...

I just took this survey and had the concepts A, B, C that were University, theme park, and vacation. Looks like I can delete my screenshots now lol.

I said my favorite of the three was University. When first asked about the vacation pack, I said my interest was 4 out of 10. Then when I read more details, I moved it up to a 7.

I can't see them doing ALL of these concepts, but I wonder if we're going to get more than the usual 7 or 8 EPs with TS3.

Whoa. This gets me really excited about new EP's! My interest, in order of relevance:

Seasons
University
Vacation

Farming, Reality TV, and Wealth/Business don't interest me.

I love the idea of a different festival for every season and the different activities that could be done. Oh, how I have missed diving boards and slow dancing!

I like that it sounds like a sim of almost any age can go to university, whether they are just starting out or want to change careers... I miss my Uni EP so much!

As for a vacation pack, I love the idea of managing and owning a resort!! That would be so cool!

Maybe there is hope for TS3... this at least gives me hope that the Sims team is trying to make some EP's that the community WANTS! I'm excited to see how far these ideas go! I wish I could take the survey!

Anyways, I really REALLY hope those seasons elements fall through. Only that could top the original seasons. (You have to admit, Sims 2 Seasons had a SHITLOAD of additions).

I would bet money that this is pre planning for TS4, they've probably had TS3 ep's planned and or developing since the beginging of the franchise.
This survey may be there way of planning what they're going to include in ts4

I think I doubt that... TS4 will have already been well underway. They started back in 2010 or 2008, i can't remember.

I think it's very late in the franchise to be planning TS3 expansions. They probably have the next few mostly done. I hope it's planning for TS4 and that they give us weather in either the base game -- because it's so BASIC -- or early on in expansions.

After waiting at least four years now to return something so basic and natural, it better be in the base game of The Sims 4. That is all I have to say. I know they want to make money with Seasons as an EP, but what they've done with The Sims 3 has pissed me off so much. Not only could they not put it in the base game, they have to wait forever to release it. Probably for more business reasons. No more, I say. Put it in The Sims 4's base game, or I won't stay for the ride this time.

Looks we can expect some of these ideas with seasons.

If they don't include it in the base game of Sims 4, I'd prolly stay on the ride anyway. I'm OCD like that and I love creating people.

All of them sounds cool. Except for the Spy one... sounds like a extended version of the investigator career from Ambitions. Sounds more like a SP than EP I want to throw up on it just like i wanted to do with Sweet treats...
But the business one sounds AMAZING! same with the outdoor! Those two are the only one's i need after University. Then my Sims 3 collection will be complete.

I would like a vacation EP, but I wish it could include more vacation spots. Mountains and skiing, as they mentioned in the survey description, but I also want city vacation and a tropical paradise vacation. Every vacation spot has their unique activities.

EA earlier mentioned farming. I thing mixing farming and open for business would be awsome. It would be like OFB in TS2, just added some more features.

I'm not sure about what to think of the time traveling idea. Could be interesting though.

I dislike the Spy idea. I agree it just sound like an expansion of the investigator career in Ambitions

I kinda hope there's more than 10. Atleast now when they're trying to step up the game :) University is next. Then i hope it's OFB or Vacations. xD

Yes, I also want an Open for business EP, and the University EP, there are many things I miss from TS2 that I still hope they'll add to a future expansion, just like the huge aquarium from apartment life, and the vending machines, but but... I'M JUST SO CURIOUS ABOUT THE SIMS 4 AND HOW IT WILL LOOK LIKE!

I don't want more TS3 EPs after Seasons, although there will be some. I want a reboot of the series, with fewer glitches, smoother gameplay, and a less fugly art style.

Yeah, that would be awesome. I liked in OFB how you could charge people to be on your lot! I end up with some awesome houses with stacks of fun things to do and it would be great to earn some money by chargind other sims to come and play, lol! I'm thinking it could mix in well with some current features we have also. Have a band? You could put on a show on your home lot and charge people to attend.

I quite like the idea of timetravel, even if it's only so I can get some more historical content for my stories-- lol.

I want both the business and time travel ones. :(
