I'd also like a shortened version of a name, for instance, if you name your sim Matthew, his friends/family will refer to him as Matt.

Doesn't really matter to me .. I just don't see how giving your sims a nickname would play out in the game. They never say their names.

Yea, see how far that gets you, stop trying to justify & lying to yourselves. The bottom line is no matter if you buy it later .. you still stole it.

There are some traits that I wish were in there ie: pessimistic, optimistic, outgoing, introverted. Stuff like that, I even thought of something just like cool and uncool, but I wasn't sure if those were really descriptive enough traits.

I think you'll find that some of the traits in the game already kind of cover those, i.e: Introverted would be shy. -- I know they're not really the same thing, and we could argue for hours but you get my point, they have pretty much just simplified a lot of things. Heh.

Not trying to totally change the subject but...I want TIRED sims. I mean, after walking around the WHOLE stinkin town wouldn't you get exhausted? Then they would have to go home and take a nap...or just sit down. Good idea or bad?

i prefer my sims to be awake, I get to do more :) I hated when my sims had to go to sleep or had to rest or drink more coffee to stay awake.

When a sim has coffee or hot chocolate, put the thing straight into the bin or dishwasher. It might just be my game but my sims always put it on a table and I have to pick it up again and dispose of it!

I always thought that this was because of how Neat or Sloppy the Sim was, but I am sure there is people out there that are far more experienced Simmers out there that could tell me otherwise. But yeah, I just left that stuff for the maid, lol.

Re: The Sims 3 : What would you want in the game?
I want sims to stop walking through the doorway at the same time, looking at you, trying again, and repeating the process. Stupid sims...Just let the other dude go in front of you....Seriously that got annoying. Or the shrug your shoulders then go OCD on using the toilet.

Re: The Sims 3 : What would you want in the game?
I want my Sims to have real dieases like chicken pox, or mumps - diabeties is a good one, they have to watch their eating habits so their sugar doesn't go overboard - maybe have them go blind. Having cancer, or maybe having a Sim in a wheel chair - paralyzed from the waist down or something - I know I may seem morbid - but it would make things interesting to see a Sim get around in a wheel chair.

I have to agree... Somewhat. But I think they should be a bit more generalized, and maybe have them "sugar-coated" the good old Simlish way.

Re: The Sims 3 : What would you want in the game?
K so I think there should be more ways for the sims to die. I know this sounds bad but real people can die from diseases or birth defects all the time. i think it would make the game more realistic. oh i also think teens should be able to become pregnant.
Now off the morbid topic. I also think that it was really annoying when sims parents had to help TEENS do their hw. it was a waist of time and pointless. I wish home work wouldn't take as long anyway. especially when your kid brings a friend home. i'd find myself making my sim teen do hw and he wouldn't be able to even interact with his friend.
