 Socialites
I have no idea -as In it's either not confirmed or I forgot about it- but I think it'd be cool to have stereotypic groups, like the sims wouldn't HAVE to be in one, but it could be fun, like say you have a punk sim and he hangs around a group of other punks but one day he decides to follow the geeky sims and he gets alot of problems from his ex-punkies. LOL. Just a thought =P

 Re: Socialites
I don't know. I already go to highschool in real life where cliques thrive, I don't want to got to play the sims, a form of relaxation, and be surrounded by the same annoying and pitiful cliques.

 Re: Socialites
Cliques probably wouldn't work unless there was a pre-existing setting for it. Not to say that I'm for the idea, but it's entirely doable, should such an option be added to the CAS screen. It wouldn't even be hard.
Still, I don't think it's really a good idea, considering it's a conscious effort to inspire hatred. Just like real cliques.

 Re: Socialites
Cliques are a tad too high schoolish for my game. Sure there will be the occassional rebellious angsty teen goth but there wont be a legion. Hm, if your talking of stereotype sims, I will be making a socialite golddigger, but all my characters end up being too complex to fit into one category. The golddigger may have a love of animals or a secret desire for a family as opposed to rabid materialism one would expect.

 Re: Socialites
I think that be rather cool. I've always had socialites in my sim games but i'm not really in the sense of cliques. Just rich sims only befriending rich sims and poor sims only befriending poor sims. Sometimes they mix.

 Re: Socialites
Yeah... Like I make all sorts of sims and I figured itd be fun to have them all do certain stuff, not saying they all walk around with their cliques because I have an edgy style and I hang out with all sorts of people... but yeah. Hopefully there could be an option or something for that lol. Kinda like what they have on apartment life... the social groups.

 Re: Socialites
Sims are said to already gravitate toward those who are like them. This is not quite the clique you're asking for...but that's pretty much what a clique is.
Granted, if your goth sim is evil and so is your snob, they could be friends. Ah well. They're both evil. Let them spread their evil in their evil way.

 Re: Socialites
I'm sure you could make socialites. I saw a pic somewhere of a group of sims that looked like socialites. You could definetly make socialites and give them materialistic and maybe snob as personality traits

 Re: Socialites
It makes the game a bit more diverse with different groups, a bit of drama!
