thus far I'm very disappointed with the number of bugs I encountered in the game while only playing it since last monday :(

I have world adventures and ambitions installed, and since my Ghostbuster sim got his latest promotion he doesn't get experience from banshees. Wait I'll just name all the bugs:

-no exp from banshees
-the counter doesn't count any ghost, spirit or banshee eliminated, it remains 0
-the music stays on and the house remains spooky after eliminating everything.
-I am updated to the latest patch from ambitions so WHAT THE FUCK?
-I play with aging on.

The last I mentioned because there certain options not possible anymore with aging off.

Anyways, does anybody know how to rid of this? The last customer was his neighbour so after ridding of the pests over there even in his own house I kept hearing the spooky music. Now it's fun on the job, but not from 5PM until 3AM midnight sims time.

edit: my version sais 4.7.4.010001 and when i click refresh it says i am up to date
edit: I just check and his bugged job is "outstanding occultist"

Oh nevermind...

Problem solved.
I don't know what did it but I got the bug since yesterday and today I play and the ghost tracker is functioning properly again :)

Thank god because the customer is yet again the neighbour xDDD

Okay god damn it!!!!

Now that I have him as my active and he's on the job none of my sims complete their tasks anymore!!!

I click for my other sim to first got ot he toilet, then eat spagetti and then sleep, and my other sim to go to work because she's a sergeon, and I play with my ghostbuster on the job, and the things they do keep disappearing after a while, and they just don't complete them and I have to click them all over again but they don't complete it!


AAAH!!!! Why can't this fucking game be bugfree this is so frustrating!!!

Just came in to say that it stopped as soon as he reached the next career level which was the highest level, so it's just the career level before the highest on ghost buster that is bugged but still, it shouldn't be bugged in the first place. EA should fix this.

Anyways, are you sure you are updated to the latest patches? The best way to check this is to use this tool: http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=409829

It's a standalone EXE, so all you have to do is download it and launch it, and it will tell you what patches you need.

I'm not sure, after all I am still getting the jacuzi wish even though people say they fixed it with the latest patch, and my game won't let me patch further no matter how often i rrefresh the page! It keeps saying I'm up to date.

I just think it sucks that EA isn't even able to do the updating properly. Sims 1 and sims 2 were FLAWLESS. I think they're too hasty and don't spend enough money on their product nowadays.

I agree with you, the updating in this game, for some time, has not been right. They screwed up with all the different patch variants. The best I can say is get that program. I had this problem, too, and I'm sure if you searched you would have found it. But the Jacuzi glitch went away right after I updated. Then I got late night, so no problem, haha.
