Re: Awesomemod Test Version
Welcome to the Forum! You are very lucky you came here to ask your question. Although valid, the people at MATY (the fourm that goes with Awesome Mod) would have eaten you alive! (Trust me, it's happened to me before and I see it happening all the time).
Back to your question, I've run into the same problem. From my understanding, the test versions, after they are a day or two old, get moved to the official download link. That I believe is here:
http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/ts3/awesome/ Sometimes it's in the test directory and sometimes it's not.
I think that should help. Now, I would suggest the Awesome Mod Updater, but seeing that you have a Mac, that wouldn't work for you. Sims 3 & Mods just takes a bit more work on mac
I hope that helps you out! And like I said, if you ever have any Awesome Mod questions, come here! If no one else does, I'll at least try to help you. Just try to keep questions away from Awesome Mod's forums.
EDIT: So I just checked for you, and the latest version of Awesome Mod is on the link I provided. Compatible with the latest patch (1.24) so make sure you are updated! Also, not sure how long you haven't been playing, but are you aquainted with the "new way" for mods? If your unsure, check out the wiki on ModTheSims here:
http://modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=G ... _and_FilesThe way you know is dependant on whether you place CC in Program Files or My Documents. The article should explain it! Hope it helps!
