Post Can I save the house and NOT the lot?
Is that possible to do somehow?

The house got built on a really huge Lot as it was the only place without trees in the way of my sight but the house itself isn't that big...

Think I could fit it on a 30*30 lot...

So anyone got any ideas of how to move the house only from this stupid huge lot that I don't need to a smaller lot which there will be more of in the town?

Sadly, not possible. EA made it so that as soon as a house is on a certain lot, it's that size. This is not so much a problem when building, but if you place a 10x10 on a 64x64, and then delete it from the bin, you can't export that 10x10 as a 10x10 anymore. Your best guess would be to rebuild the house on a smaller lot.

DARN DARN DARN...

ARGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stupid thing..

Can recall that in Sims 2 you could somehow "trick" it so you could save the house and not the lot...

oh well I don't want to start over so will just have to figure out how it is again that I can make new empty lots in my town.. if that is even possible??? :P
