So I don't know what happened.

But he got grounded for having a party at his place, and then he went to school, which counted as sneaking out of the house, so when he arrived home his parents punished him.

And ever since he's been sneaking around... I've made his father let him off the hook, but he just kept sneaking and sneaking, even when I press run or walk, all he does is sneak.

So I just kept playing until he aged to young adult but.. guess what... he's still sneaking around.

I don't know what to do, I just can't take him seriously when he sneaks around >.>;

Does he still have the grounded moodlet? It might be stuck, you can use boolprop to get rid of it.
Or maybe its still there but invisible, you could try reset sim. Beyond that, I'm not really sure.

He wasn't sneaky before and there's no options left so it's definitely a bug haha

I tried to reset him by typing resetSim name surname (well his name was Sander Blue so that's what I typed)

And it did reset him, but he's still sneaking around. And the moodlet disappeared a long time ago when I had his dad "let him off the hook"

If it doesn't make him slower when he's walking, I guess its only an aesthetic problem, and you could just learn to live with it...

Or, you know, kill him.

I remember there being a locomotive reseter... unless it's for TS2 only, you could try searching for one.

Maybe if you get him grounded again and get him to sneak out, when the punishment's over he'll go back to normal?

It DOES make him slower, that's why it's so gosh darn annoying so living with it isn't an option.

Deleting him also isn't, then I'd have to start all over again TToTT all my precious simming time would be ruined.

I made it especially for this haha :P one big database of bugs seemed more dandy than bugs spread over tons of youtube accounts.

Besides the fact that it makes him unbearably slow, that actually looks really funny. I'm just imagining the inner dialogue.

I wonder what would happen if you gave him a cane as an elder? Would he adopt the new walk or sneak with the cane...

It is up to 1.31 so the patch level before Showtime, I think it would work with 1.32 though. Try the "Walk" option, it'll change it back to the normal one, if it ever reverts to sneaky sneak-walk, change back to just normal walk. Should work.

Ok I tried and it doesn't work.

I managed to switch on to crawl somehow, which makes him turn into some kind of midget freak, and somehow managed to get him back to normal. (aka sneaking)

But none of the other things work for him, he just keeps on sneaking the sneaky bastard. Seriously I don't know what to do TToTT

OK finally after raping the clear walk button a billion times I managed to switch over to fastwalk, but the buttons don't work the first time like they're supposed to.

I found out why I had to rape the button by the way!

My game was patched to the latest patch...
So the mods were not functioning properly anymore.

Is there a way to unpatch my game? I really don't need the latest patch, all it is is anoying "sim point" items that I'm never going to buy anyway!!! Just ea trying to get more money out of us.

You can turn all that annoying sims store stuff in the catalogue by unchecking 'Store Mode' in the game options.

This is how it went.

I installed pets, but didn't patch my game, Nraas worked fine.
THEN my boy got the annoying sneaking bug, and I thought, oh maybe patching will fix it? So I patched my game, but it didn't fix shit. It only made it worse because by now my Nraas was malfunctioning, I would click a sim, and click edit in CAS or something like hat, but nothing happened.
And with the locomotion changer that you guys advised me to download, I had to rape a button a gazillion times and just press every option there was for 10 minutes for it to work. While it SHOULD just work with one click and have your char switch to normal walking. I am assuming it would've worked FINE if it weren't for the stupid latest patch.

SO I figured, maybe if I do all this crap Nraas and the locomotion mod would work again!!!!

But no!! Grr sorry guys I'm a bit pissy, but GRR, NOW all my HAIRCUTS and all my MODS are gone. POOF, GONE.

I've had this happen twice.
Once they age up to adult it goes away.
The new patch seems to have stopped it,
I haven't had this problem since the first patch with Pets.

with both my sims they stopped sneaking when they aged up to YA

I'll just make a new post for my new issue instead of prolonging this thread, seeing as the sneaking is no longer the issue here. I now have a much bigger problem that keeps me from playing my game!
