The sims 3 has stopped working..

 The sims 3 has stopped working.. I know a few people have been getting this too but I just don't get it, my game has been fine, ran perfectly, now this, every 10 minutes, I've tried the DEP thing, tried running without content, still nothing. I don't understand how it can be fine one minute then the next crashcrashcrash? Does anyone have any advice?

Re: The sims 3 has stopped working.. Sometimes my game randomly crashes and I have no way to explain it. I have started saving after every sim day to prevent losing hours and hours of playing.
I would make sure that your computer isn't overheating by making sure the fan isn't covered or right up against something like the wall or computer desk. Other than that... save save save!

Re: The sims 3 has stopped working.. Do you have enough memory? I remember that my Sims 2 game used to randomly crash and then my computer told me there wasn't enough memory... or something.
