Adventures In Simming v3.0

After numerous crashes, errors, re-installions I finally got my sims 3 to run like a dream again. No expansions, only hair and makeup CC's. I love it, I can play for hours and not hold my breath wondering when my sims 3 is going to crash... again for the 1,000th time. I created a new housemate/roommate suitation.. 'cause I find family/legacies a bit too boring for my gameplay. Nathan doesn't make a re-appearance, nor does Puzzle. I created two sisters, Jane and Emma and named the guy Nathan (no relation to the OLD Nathan XP). Spoiler: Download from sim's exchange, Emma Stone (actress) make and model. :) Jane is really pretty. I actually crossed Nathan & Emma in CAS and it resulted in her. Instead of making her a child of their household, I made her a YA and put her as Emma's sister. He seems kind of Dorky. xD Without further ado.... new screenies from my simming time! Jane: I have to live with him? My sister I understand... but... Creator: Shhhsh! Creator: Awww sister & sister comparison photo! Jane: Don't compare me to my sister, I'm obviously the more prettier one. Creator: Jane, dear, it's rude to say that OUTLOUD with your sister standing next to you. Jane: You dig the dirt like this and then put the seed in. Emma: Oh, that's how you do it! :nods: Jane: So what is your favorite vegetable to grow? Emma: Ahah... er... um.... (I have to look smart!) Jane: Hmm? Emma: Gladiolus? Jane: That's actually a flower. Emma: (know it all!) Ah, Ok! :forces smile: Jane: Hey, Emma! :childish: Emma: :childish back: Creator: Really kids? You were just having an inner-battle, well Emma was anyway, and now you go playing nicey-nice? And then the conversation gets a wee-bit embarrassing... Emma: Remember when you were little and mom used to pinch your bare naked buttocks down the hall? Jane: Emma..... stop! Nathan: Ahahhahahaha! Creator: Yes, Nathan thought it was pretty funny. Emma: So do you like music or...? Nathan: Why are you talking to me? >:( Creator: Yeah, Nathan shut her down quick. The convo continues into the day.... Creepy Emma stare FTW!!! Nathan: Do you know a good doctor? I have a baseball sized thing down there. Emma: Oh dear lord, ew! Emma: I just burped and a little sick came up. The house was bought empty/bare so I took five minutes filling it in. Nathan: Aww...Ouch! Creator: Keep going, you can dooo eeet! (no he can't =_=') Nathan wants to be an astronaut so Athletics is important. Emma's creative skills turned out and she went straight to the painting easel. Creator: Looks like your upchuck from earlier! Emma: It is not upchuck, it's art. Creator: What ever you say.... Jane is brushing up on her gardening skills... Nathan gets done with his workout... Nathan: Pweeey! I stink. Creator: You are telling me! Now go shower before it permeates the air anymore! Emma took a break from painting to cook dinner... Creator: Stir that mac and cheesy!~ Jane cleans up after dinner, Emma went to bed because she has to get up early for work. Then she does this eclectic dance in front of the fridge. Creator: Whas the matter? You sick? Jane: No, I have to peeeee! Creator: Don't do it on the tiles! I just had them put down! Jane: Tell Nathan to hurry the hell up! Nathan was in the middle of a shower and the moment he was finished she all but ran in the bathroom. Jane: Shoo-Shoo I have to pee, now get out. Nathan: Che, fine. Women :grumbles: Nathan is the first to rise, early riser. He makes cereal. Nathan: Hmmm nummy. Creator: Looks like cardboard cherrios. :/ Hot, sexy, male sim doing auto cleaning up FTW!!! HOOONKKKKK Creator: Have fun at work! Jane is the last to rise and makes herself some waffley-affelies. Jane: Pour half cup of milk, add some eggs... sprinkle some spice. Food-holding glitch! There... that's better! And here is where we leave off, the three simmies all working hard at their vocational skills. Jane wants to have the perfect garden. Emma wants to be a top news anchor. I love the naration of long conversations. Very Clever!!! I worry for you though. You just cleaned your game. I'd stay away from the exchange. You said thats where you downloaded Emma. She looks fine! But I worry you may get another problem from the exchange. Just keep your eyes open and be careful! Anyways, do you have a really high end computer? Same computer I've used since the first time I played sims 3. I have a Mac OS X Leopard (?) Version 10.6.8, 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3, and a trilobite in space saving data. It's supposed to be an all around day-to-day computer as well as a gaming computer. I like playing my games because the rendering is quick and it the choppiness isn't there. I played Spore for a time (good game, got redundant after awhile) and the graphics were good on it. The only thing I can say I dislike about having a Mac is MANY games are only Windows based and rarely does anything good come out for Mac computers. Even CAW is Windows only and they said it's highly unlikely they'll make a Mac version. Darn them! I found out it was probably some CC's I downloaded from modthesims or thesimsresource. I know one toddler hair, once I put it on my sim and exited CAS it would give me 10-15 seconds before it crashed after everything rendered and went back to normal gameplay so I knew it was one particular hair. Now I only download Peggysims and Newsea hair, I stay away from any other type of hairstyles. I got my custom skin and makeup from Peggy. I find her files reliable and don't cause crashes. I have Ambitions, WA, LN, and Generations, but I probably won't load them in for awhile, IF ever. I get NO problems when I play just my original game, but for some reason once I load the expansions in I get more errors, bugs, crashes. The only thing I will probably add is Pets in October and Seasons (whenever we get that). My other expansions can sit and collect dust for now. _________________ Check Out My Sims 3 Page!

Same type of computer I used to play when I was at my dad's house! I played with the specs a bit low (I didn't want to overrun his comp) but it was great! If you look closely in my thread, theres a part where the screenshots start being much wider. Somewhere when they are all teens. But oh well, I liked it!
