Neighbourhood screenshot of the Egypt location:

Right, well I'm sure the first problem a lot of people are going to point out is how tiny the town is. It honestly looks like it can only house 10-20 locals in it. Unless the others are all theives that live in hidden caves in the desert?
Anyway, seeing as the pyramids and the Sphynx aren't present in the screenie, and the (thank God) dirt roads lead off to the north, I'm assuming Al Simhara is going to be GINORMOUS. And is anyone else so happy about the dirt roads? Tarmac would look so wrong, I was wondering how EA was planning to find a way around this.
Maybe they're saving the release of the neighbourhood creation tool until after WA comes out so we can use different types of roads as well?

I do admit, the pictures of both the pyramids and town peaked my interest. Only time will tell if it holds up to our hopes. Also, side note, perhaps the lots are scattered across the world? I'd imagine you would want to be close to water, living out in a desert.

EA needs to do their homework - the villages were located further away from the Nile, and their farms were placed near the banks because of the annual flooding. :nono:

Remember, they said simish versions of the locations. AKA: we don't want to be precise.

AKA: they're not gonna bother researching into it too deeply becuase its a fictional place within a real place, so anything that isn't entirly true IRL can changed within the game without racism or uproars or whatever :shh:

I really hope that Corvettes and Other Fancy cars are gonna drive on these roads autonomously. I really hope that those Mopeds fill the town.

I'm sad now. I thought I saw a hot tub in one of the screenshots, but it turns out it's not one. Recent videos on youtube you can watch show a lot of those screenshots.

For me it is kinda big! It has many free space! And there better be like 40 tombs in the desert or I'll be very disappointed with this game! Well actually I'm already.

Wow, that looks really cool! I'm assuming they're not finished with that location yet because it does look pretty small, unless there's more off-screen that we can't see.

Go and watch the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUVb6DcFZg4

You'll find that to the North is the sphinx and the pyramids. I only saw two but they are to scale, and i am glad to see have an inside. They aren't rabbit holes and they aren't buildings, they are somewhat in between. However this is only possible as they are huge, you couldnt do that with the rabbit holes as it would be too much.

Im quite happy with the neighbourhood overall. Its like with Pleasant Valley, you cannot show it all in one shot and many assume that this small section is all we are getting. Then you throw in the fact that it has features such as the dirt roads which are completely unique. And of course the final plus is that we are getting three locations, i would honestly be happy with just this one, although the novelty value would probably run thin after a few visits to the same place.

Oh sweet video! Is that a hot tub or a small pool? Either way, its win!

Also, i am a little upset to see that the animations for The Mummie's curse are pretty dull since they are pretty much the fighting animations. I also am kinda mad that the guy didn't automatically react to the mummy behind him.

yeah there is some sadness in that sense. Then again i've never really been a fan of the creatures for this reason.

Don't forget the fact that they are still working on this EP...

I wouldn't hold your breath for them to make a proper animation. On another note, I too hoped that was a hot tub but at this time I don't believe it is. If you watch the video he simply dives in it to get his ass unfired, then dives in to the bottom to find the trigger for the wall. So much for hoping hot tubs make a return. Maybe in a luxury EP such a thing might come back.

It definitely looks like a hot tub though, so sad.

My guess would be that there is most definitely plans for a dating related EP which EA would be saving the hot tub for. Im just hoping its going to be EP2 not 3 or 4.

I wonder if they will give us anything new and fresh related to hot tubs, for example something that matches the pool and looks like an attatchment, or perhaps a spa bath. Can only hope at this stage though.

I might be the only one who has wanted this but, has anyone else since Hot date EP wanted a water bed?

Eh, my mind somehow went from hot tubs to water beds. Don't ask me, my mind is weird. Overall, I'm curious to see the other two n'hoods.

Me two. Cant wait to see France. The Eiffel Tower should be pretty. I wonder if there will be any sort of interaction with it.
