The frame rate of that video was pretty bad, but it was interesting to see behind the scenes. It looks like it can be challenging to sing those songs in a different language such as simish

Hmm. Really crappy framerate, and I hope we'll see three different trailers for each destination. I'm still annoyed that, so far, all we've seen are pictures and videos of Egypt... I want to see France already! Although that bit in the trailer where the camera went over the dune and the view of the pyramids and the bay came into view... that was one of those 'wow' moments.
Although whenever that main theme starts playing, I always seem to get in a simming mood.

I couldn't watch the video, the frame skip drove me nuts.

But thanks for the find.

Also, Simlish is not so hard to sing to.
When you listen to foreign songs alot you tend to catch keywords.
Over time with the sims, you end up singing it perfect.

I haven't played the sims 1 in a long time though so I can't sing the disco songs as good. (I miss the music back then. )

Singing along to a simlish song is one thing, but learning it for the first time for a song you already know in english (for example) and performing it is another thing. Sure if you hear it enough times, you're kind of just memorizing it. But singing your own song (or someone elses) in a different language takes abit more talent, where as we just listen to the already made song over and over until we actually learn the lyrics

Semi-high-def version of the trailer from IGN:
Clickies!
They'll charge you to download the higher res version, but you can always use the realplayer download feature to get it for free. :mwahaha:

Or downloadhelper which doesn't require any additional software other than Firefox itself. :3

I can't remember the artist, but I remember watching the video for the girl who made the song Nothing sweet about me in slimish. I ended up liking the simlish version more because the chorus was catchy.

Gabriella Cilmi. xP I found her out through TS2(Although I had Sweet About Me before TS2 AL was released, I still didn't know about her).

That song is addictive because of how the lyrics are sung with the music.
If only more artists knew how to do things like that... Wait, I take that back. If they did the value of it would lower. thus becoming the norm. :giggle:

Heres a better version of the Presentation, its FPS is there, so its good! :D

One thing i noticed is that half the women sims in the video have custom hair, not from EA.

Pretty cool, although I'm not gonna lie, I can't stand simlish songs. Why add these remade songs to the game that are in this weird language that we can't understand, when we can just add our own custom music to the game very easily?

Its a way for EA to get promoted, and for the singers to get paid. It makes more sence in the business world.

It's just part of the charm.
Though back in the beginning they didn't get actual famous artists.

I miss the Disco Station on Sims 1.

The Bad thing about all the real artists is... It kind of all blurs into the same thing to be honest.
Our music out there is so many boys and girls, trying to be each other at being each other with nothing to say.
I prefer when a artist sounds different from the Herd of White Sheep.
