Possible Adventures for France & China?
So I'm currently watching Da Vinci Code, and it got me thinking "What kind of adventures might be in Fance for Sims 3" I know EA wont want to cross too many lines when it comes to religious based content, but maybe something close will be passable (such as nectar instead of wine ). Perhaps some adventures about the Knights Templar and finding long lost ancient treasures. If you think about it, most of the treasures in Egypt's tombs are also somewhat religious, but they can get past all that as well When it comes down to mysteries and adventures, I think the Knights Templar and what surrounds it really speaks out compared to what other mysteries lay in France. I guess we (or I) can only hope EA was creative enough to include such things I was just going to make this about France, but I decided to do a little research into China as well For China you really have the ancient Chinese army tombs. I think that was probably one of the more interesting things I found, and it's also a popular setting for some movies such as Tomb Raider and The Mummy Returns (3rd movie). When I think about where WA can take us, I believe this was most reasonable choice. There's also possiblity of finding long lost Chinese civilizations and artifacts of thier past cultures that mysteriously vanished When you start digging into the culture of mysteries, you can get an idea of where EA might take you in the areas not yet revealed to us. Hopefully I'm not building up too much of my own hype and wont be disappointed with what EA actually comes up with in France and China

There's some underground tombs, or burial spaces, I don't know quite the word, but they put lots of bones against a wall, in a tunnel, underground and maybe there we could have some adventures? Omg, I almost forgot to say where they're located. XD They're located in France, so maybe we could have some French adventures there?

I'm thinking that adventures for the other locations, mainly France, will revolve around helping the locals find items or other sims.

Re: Possible Adventures for France & China?
There is a picture on the cover that shows a burglar riding away from a cop on a moped, behind them looks France like. Edit: This was on the front page of SS. Quote: French site Tom's Games is on Gamescom as well and wrote a small article. In it, there are a few new details like there is an adventure journal and the amount of adventures in the French part is minor. Check the (translated) article here: Tom's Games article Sorry guys, sounds like France got the cut when it came to adventures.

Meh. French adventures wouldn't be all that exciting anyway. It's more of the tourist-y destination, lots to see but not much to do. Egypt is the opposite, and China, well I guess that's somewhere in between.

I may be wrong on this though :P Akadai wrote: I was just going to make this about France, but I decided to do a little research into China as well For China you really have the ancient Chinese army tombs. What amuses me is the fact that EA has decided to advertise in their videos, with sims that are similar to Indiana Jones and Lara Croft. It might be cute to them, but it comes across as trying to make people go "hey I know those, it must be like their games/movies then!".

Re: Possible Adventures for France & China?
I noticed a couple cuddling or kissing on the cover and it looks to be located in France, maybe it's just going to be more of a spot for romance/tourist type stuff. Idk

Re: Possible Adventures for France & China?
... I just got that stupid Da-Sims-3-Code theory-ish thing, if it is so that France too will have an "epic" adventure. I think it could still be about Da Vinci code, because they could just replace buddha, god or allah or something with SPODE.
that is a purly made up god.. So it could be possible, right?

The Great Wall of China and the Cave of Lascaux sounds good for an adventure.

that is a purly made up god.. So it could be possible, right? Or they could replace Spode with a llama, which is more sims-y than spore-y.

Re: Possible Adventures for France & China?
Being French, I'm trying to think of some history that would be a good adventure, but IDK. The two pictures I've seen showed Paris: the Eiffel Tower on the one with the couple cuddling, and the Arc of Triumph with the thief running away on a moped.
