Quite a few people are upset with the fact that World Adventures will be priced higher than the Sims 2 expansions – mainly due to the fact that EA is shoving the Simpoints cards in the box, trying to get us to use them in their stores. I’d like to state that this doesn’t really bother me…because in the end I will pick it up at the regular price – either via a retail sale or wait. However, word has it that ‘Reclaim your Game‘ set up a petition for those who disagree with the $40 pricetag, in which you can sign here. If you really want to start a movement, I suggest standing behind these folks – they did play a HUGE role in helping stop SecuROM!

:grin: Guys thank you so much for your support in this. Like one of the posters above said, all we can do is try. I always feel like a bit of a mug if something goes by that bothers me and I haven't said something.

Someone should ask snooty to say something about this on the home page.

Coming from a company such as EA who has sold well over 3 million copies of Sims 3 already, the petition is going to need thousands of signs before EA will even care about it, yet alone bother to look at it

Exactly, even though I signed it I don't see it doing anything to change their minds. It is EA after all, they don't listen to their customers and will charge whatever they want for a product because people will still buy it
