Re: Post your Ambitions Screenies! You can get a kids book at the book shop that sims can read to their toddlers. I don't think it builds up the skill very well though, but it does give them a bit of a head start. I think there's a mod somewhere that allows kids to read skill books, but I don't know if it's at Mod The Sims or elsewhere, and I don't know if it's updated for Ambitions. :(
