This happened to me when playing in BB yesterday even after starting a new game. Every sim is a celeberty including my cas sims. They range from 1 to 5 stars. EA missed this and I hope it's fixed in the patch.

I don't have BB, but I noticed that in Bridgeport my sims all get celebrities really fast; one sim just went to do the laundry somewhere and instantly received 3 stars, without even talking to anyone. An other sim got 4 stars when she got pregnant, and the guy she got pregnant with has no stars at all. I've recently been playing in Riverview and sims there really have a hard time getting stars, so the difference is really big between towns.

Yes - every single Sim in Barnacle Bay is a celebrity. It's extremely annoying when my Sim's boss is a mega celebrity and my Sim must befriend them, causing them to become a celebrity.
Until it's fixed, I just imagine it's a small town where everybody knows who everybody is.
I hope there is going to be a fix.

This only happens in BB. I haven't seen it happen in Sunset Valley,Riverview or Twinbrooks.

I was wondering why some of you have this problem. After patching Late Night, I started playing all the Worlds and no sims automatically became celebrities. I am still playing Barnacle Bay at the moment. I found that every thing in normal.

I just started playing Bridgeport, and I've not seen a problem yet. There are a lot of level 1 celebritys, and my sim got up fast. Is that wrong? I have Awesome Mod, maybe that helps.

I just played barnacle bay yesterday and all the Sims in there are celebrities too!
