My witches in Sims 2 are exactly like that... then they poke your breasts, shove the hell out of you and harass you until death.

But I totally agree. I mean in Sims 2, with vampires, I used to make them seem like mysterious creatures, who had a massive clan which ruled a city and was royalty. The Sims usually felt intimidated due to this power, and the vampires would ONLY marry other vampires, they would never get those feelings for mere humans. Of course, they used to spread this hatred and fear by 'shoving' and 'poking' everyone... ;3

I like your play style, it sounds alot like mine. Just another example that The Sims is what you make of it. It all comes down to how creative you want to be and that you're only limited by your own imagination

believe what you want, but in an interview with grant rodiek i watched (he was answering questions about ambitions), he was talking about the twilight spoof that they made, and he was saying how he thinks twilight is ridiculous. i think that's a good sign.

plus, if he says that they're not being inspired by twilight, then how would it benefit him if he were lying? i'm pretty sure he would be nothing but truthful with such a subject.


i guess my bottom line is that they make fun of twilight, so they wouldn't lie about being inspired by them.

I don't really see how they are too similar to Twilight vampires or why it even matters in the first place. Grant must have said "They will NOT sparkle" over a million times in the Twitter event. It's incredible that he even had to bring that up to begin with. I mean come on people, use your brains.

The mind reading thing is a bit weird, but It sounds like it could be an interesting new feature. I honestly couldn't care less if that was in Twilight. I care so much more about how it will be used. I don't think I will use vampires either way, though.

EDIT: Silly me, I posted this in the wrong topic. It was supposed to be in the Twitter topic because they were discussing vampires and Twilight. I had the idea to respond and then left, and this topic was active and it had "vampires" in the title so I just assumed it twas the topic I wanted. >_<

I don't think they really needed thier own clothing. With the amount of outfits out there, it would be pretty easy to make some vampire like clothing anyway. I've made some pretty nice looking ones already in CAS

I don't understand why some people are so afraid of the vampires being too much like Twilight. Now, I love Twilight so it wouldn't bother me one bit if they were based on the Cullens and whatnot but I don't think they are. Since vampires are make-believe to being with, I think what EA did was take different aspects of the vampires that are out there in the media right now to make the creature their own, ya know? Plus the vampires were a big hit in Night Life so it stands to reason that they would bring them back in a similar EP.

No, to be honest I really don't think Twilight is all of that great (I think it's okay, nothing special), but I don't really understand your viewpoint. I just don't see how they're so "wrong". To me I've always seen the only requirement of a vampire being that they suck blood. Twilight vampires do that. I don't even care that Edward sparkles in the sunlight.

When people went around saying "vampires don't sparkle" it made me think that Edward actually sparkled all of the time. I've only seen the first movie, but he sparkled a grand total of once in the entire movie. If anybody is actually basing all of this "vampires don't sparkle" crap on that one scene than I have officially lost them. And a good number of people probably have. If people really hate this series as much as they say, than I have no reason to believe that too many of them should have gone past the first movie or book.

Either way this is pointless. The vampires in Late Night don't even sparkle (although I would have had a very good laugh if they did.). In fact these vampires seem quite a bit creepier and vampire-like than the ones in NightLife and if you ask me that's a good thing for people who actually care about them. I don't really care about them or any of these supernatural creatures, but I am a bit saddened that we won't be getting the classic vampire cape that the male ones wore in Night Life. I never played as them but I always thought it was funny to see them on the lots with that cape. lol

Offtopic: Lol, I like the "It's Raining Men" part. This preview actually gave me a few laughs although I don't usually like parody movies. I might actually watch this one.
