 Late Night vs. Ambitions
I am thinking of getting an expansion pack but I don't know which one to get. Ambitions seems to offer a lot of gameplay but I want the city like feel and the clothes and hair from late night but it seems to lack gameplay. i don't want WA because it doesn't seem that great when compared to the others, So its up for you to decide?

 Re: Late Night vs. Ambitions
i have exactly the same question.
Adding the fact that ambitions is much 10 pound cheaper but late like looks so cool and alive

 Re: Late Night vs. Ambitions
I would say that you guys should get Late Night to be honest.
My reason behind this is that if you don't have sims that are in the Ambitions careers, you're not going to use a lot of its features except for laundry. Whereas in Late Night, the least you can do is gather a group of people and party like crazy.

Oooh, tough question. I love Ambitions but I'm going to say that Late Night wins. It added such a different aspect of playing for me. In Sunset Valley and Riverview, my game play was family-focused and besides going to work, my sims didn't leave the house all that often. In Late Night, my sim rarely goes home! She's on her third marriage and has one child and will never have another one, and she parties as much as possible. I absolutely love it and I'm totally obsessed with LN.

 Re: Late Night vs. Ambitions
i voted ambitions, purley because ambitions has novelty gameplay, like laudry and the careers, i don't actually use them anymore, infact, i didn't even get round to using them all before realising it was virtually like mysims 0.o
Of course, late night could be a novelty aswell, but for now i'm enjoying it ;)

 Re: Late Night vs. Ambitions
It's hard for me to say which. I like both personally. I like the professions that came with Ambitions, and it feels like it gives my sims something abit more to do while on the job. Late Night does add quite abit as well though, and I feel it's the first expansion that actually gets you out of your house. Before I would rarely leave because I didn't have much of a reason to. Late Night really changes that I guess you have to look at things in long term. How much of certain aspects of the expansions are you going to be using after you've had your fill of the new stuff? After that "This is new and cool" feeling wears off As much as I like some of the new things Late Night brings, there's just certain things about it that make me annoyed about it. So it's kind of been bumped off it's high horse and put on equal ground I suppose the best option is to get both (eventually anyway)

 Re: Late Night vs. Ambitions
maybe just start real slow and start with ambitions then get late night later on. but by that time 5 new expansions will have come out as well as a trailer of sims 4 :P long term i cant really see either of them being that amazing. :P because ill want to go back to sunset valley or some family town.
Though the doing more stuff in your day late night seems to pull me towards it more. cosy apartments, cosy bars, and bands.
just miss the dj thing, restraunts, costume box and a decent film career. with those this game would be perfect. maybe they should just ask someone what a game needs before releasing it :P oh yeah and vampires look good
