very true^^ I'm sure a bunch of underlying rabbit hole features don't take EA as long as you may think to make.

But EA uses rabbit holes to make the simming community more creative, while your sims are at boarding school, you can imagine all the shenanigans they are getting into, which is just as good as actually doing things with the sims at boarding school in my book.

I still prefer "real" restaurants. Because really, how fun is it to watch a sim enter a building then sit there and stare at the restaurant, thinking of him eating a hamburger when you instead can watch 2 people argue, then start fighting when your sim is eating?

I really wish the NPCs did more things in sims 3, instead of just standing there chatting :(
More NPCs would be cool too

I think if they have speciality schools it will be a case of adding tones that are relevant for the schools and maybe a boost to get inot the career associated with it. Like maybe they will have medical school for teens so afterward they can go straight to the Medical Intern level in the medical career.

Offtopic: This is completely off-topic but I am from Canada. And I want it to be warm because I hate winter. Luckily I moved to a new city and it's much milder (in terms of the winter) here than my home-town.

To me that would be a slap in the face if EA actually did that. Teens can't go to medical school unless there was an exception made and those kinds of concepts should be saved for a fully-fleshed university EP.

Oh god! I don't want different types of school!!! How much space would every type of school take up in the NH?! This is a BAD IDEA!! :l Unless they just go to school at the sports stadium etc

You could just delete them. There is no need to want everybody to miss out on a feature simply because you don't want them. All your teens and kids would just be re-assigned to the normal school.

I know that! I mean, if I wanted to use the features.. are they all going to be the size of the school we have now?! How many will their be?! Don't start hatin' awn me because I think its a silly idea. You have your opinion, I have mine. I think its a bad idea because of the space restrictions, you think its a good idea because EA is MAZIN'

Offtopic: They are? My savefile is so slow to load it takes 10 min just to get started, then it lags like no other game I have ever played ( my PC can run Crysis)....

I also agree that it's pretty lame they add new schools when there most likely wont be a difference from the normal schools when they could have made university or something instead...

Found this. Translated from German into English

Quote:
New things:
CBS: Must own Sim and other Sims spread rumors about the?
RV: If a Sim learns that a friend is cheated, he is free, to blacken the partners.
=blackmail

Quote:
A friend of the deceiver Sims told him perhaps from the treacherous behavior. A figure that out its multiple relationships in undercover filed, however, the reputation as a player or even Don Juan. What do you do in public is never unseen past the watchful eyes of your Sim's neighborhood. Be prepared, make sure it changed the sex lives of your Sims sustainable - for better or for worse.
= reputation for everyone, and not only for celebrities

Honestly, I'm waiting to hear what the new types of schools actually do before I pass judgement on them. Right now I do believe that they would probably make a better addition to a university expansion pack but that's just me.

As for the space in the neighbourhood(s) for them; good luck! Unless you are using CAW or wanting to restart your neighbourhood you are probably not going to have space for this feature. Good job, EA! And from the sounds of it, I think that EA would have an arts-school along with the military and sports schools just so that it gives the players more choice. But this isn't confirmed yet.

I'm guessing military school and private school. Possibly art school.

I have to say it really sucks if they don't make a new neighbourhood considering how the current ones are so packed with buildings that there is barely place for them all.
Maybe 2-3 new schools that need place
A building for the prom maybe ( I doubt they would have that at home, because that would suck)
Daycare house

Am I the only one that think they should make buildings for the maid/butler etc? Because right now they just vanish after they drive away from your house..

Offtopic: Am I the only one getting error messages sometimes when I try to post?

I have been to two proms, one was at a restaurant, and another was at the school, so I'm assuming they will have prom at the school.

I would be fine with one workable new school that you could actually play your sims at.

School (at least the current school) is a rabbit hole. How fun if the prom is a rabbit hole...

In regards to the neighbourhoods; at this point, simmers are starting to have to choose which features they want to focus on for each EP. This is not cool. And I really don't think that Generations is comming with a new NH.

I heard there is a new interview about generations coming soon, hopefully they will tell us if there is going to be a new NH. Because really, having a family in Bridgeport is like eating "organic" food :stare:

I wonder if imaginary friends can go to clubs in Bridgeport? :shift:

Most likely. That sort of feature bending happens naturally.
But it's so true. Families hardly ever exist in my bridgeport games. Family and Fame do not mix well, IMO.

It has to, otherwise it is just a stuff pack. If you noticed, Sims 1 had neighborhoods in:
  • Hot Date - Downtown
  • Vacation - Vacation Island
  • Unleashed - Old Town
  • Superstar - Studio Town
  • Makin' Magic - Magic Town

Sims 2 had neighborhoods in:
  • University - The 3 college neigborhoods.
  • Nightlife - Downtown
  • Open for Business - Bluewater Village
  • Seasons - Riverblossom Hills
  • Bon Voyage - The 3 vacation neighborhoods
  • FreeTime - Desiderata Valley
  • Apartment Life - Belladonna Cove

So there is a definite possibility, since we've gotten new neighborhoods in each EP.

Not in Sims 2 pets

But yeah, considering how we got something new in each EP
Vanilla - Sunset Valley/Riverview
WA - 3 holiday neighbourhoods (nothing so new they had to add a new NH)
AB - Twinbrook
LN - Bridgeport
GE - Might be announced today?
http://www.simgoodie.com/ is supposedly going to have an interview with someone from EA, I guess more might be revealed then

I found this: http://www.simcookie.com/wp-content/upl ... 3x1024.jpg
The French Generations box. If it really is really, then I think the schools got a bigger meaning than we think..

The forums at the sims 3 site have been down a long time now.

The dutch box, for the Netherlands and Flanders, looks like the English version.

That's not Generations. That's a fan-version using a render for Sims 2 University and the Generation logo. Plus the title at the top translates to "Book of Questions", so I'd assume it means a log of questions to ask on that interview?

Thank goodness, I was scared for a while that was going to be the Europe box or something

Anyone knows when the Simgoodie interview will get released? :<
