Post Teaching Teens To Drive?
I have been looking through a few user reviews for the new Generations Expansion Pack and I've seen may people mentioning that 'teaching teens to drive is fun to watch'. I didn't even realise that we were able to teach teens to drive even after playing the expansion pack with teens in my Sim family for quite a while. This does sound like a very interesting and fun add to the game although i'm not entirely sure it's true. I'd be very grateful if anyone can confirm if this is true or not.

Very true! It's somthing that teens can ask their parents or other YA+ to help them do. Here's a video!

Yes, that's how slow they go. Hilarious in 3x though!

I've only done it with one teen Sim and can't say I found it fun or entertaining. I thought it was boring.

I have done it with one sim as well. Even after it said that she had learned to drive, they kept driving around until I cancelled it and her wish to "Learn to Drive" didn't get fulfilled. :stare:

Yeah there's something messed up with it. I had a teen learn to drive. It got fulfilled and all but then he spun up the want to learn to drive again. XD The only reason I bother teaching them to drive is that it's a 2,000 point want.

Can they only drive if they learn first? Even when they age up?

Even if a teen didn't "Learn to Drive", they can still drive when they age up. It's like when toddlers age to children without being potty trained - they can still do it, they just may not grow up as well. I honestly have no idea what teens get from learning to drive, I haven't followed through with teaching one yet.

Yeah I've done it once and it was pretty funny but I don't know if I'll do it again unless I want to give my Sims something to do if they have nothing else to do.

I always fullfill this want/wish when it pops up. 2000 points is just too much to pass on. But yeah, it's pretty boring and occasionally buggy.

Started driving lessons with my teen this morning. Thought it was funny the speed he was going at, but I probably won't watch that close the next time his mum gives him a lesson, wasn't that interesting lol

Offtopic: This is awkward, because I just got my permit, and my dad has been teaching me the ropes..
