Update your neighborhood and your Sim’s style with items and venues for their house and town. The Sims Studio proudly announces The Sims 3 Town Life Stuff pack, designed for you to update your neighborhood and spend the day around town, will be available on July 26, 2011.

Image

Does your Sim love books? Build them a library where they can mix and mingle with their neighbors (but remember to keep it down!) or add one of the new retro library sets to their home. If your Sim prefers to pump iron then build them a high-tech gym with treadmills, weight machines and more. For those Sims who are family oriented, create new playgrounds filled with a sandbox, slide , tree house and other fun items.

Additionally, with The Sims 3 Town Life Stuff pack you’ll also get washer and dryers for your home, new casual outfits and hairstyles to enhance your Sim’s look, as well as community lots like the Fresh and Frozen Express Grocer, Par Excellence Preparatory School and Scrumptious Nibbles Café.

FEATURES

  • Pre-Built Venues and Lots—Give your Sims’ town a new look with spectacular ready-to-go venues and community lots—or construct your own cool setting.
  • Fit and Fresh—Work out with the latest high-tech gym equipment, then clean your sweaty gym clothes in the new state-of-the-art washer and dryer set.
  • Time to Unwind—Kids will love the new Sunny Bungalow jungle gym, slide, and sandbox, while grown-ups can play chess by the new fountain.
  • Study Time or Story Time—Update the library with an elegant array of accessories, build your own study, or create cubicles with specialized sectional seating.
  • New Casual Outfits and Hairstyles—Clothes for running errands, hanging out, or working out—there are lots of styles for all your Sims’ fashion needs.

The Sims 3 Town Life Stuff pack is currently available for pre-order at the EA Store.

I'll be getting this.

The pre-built venues and rabbit holes look cool but I find myself having a hard time getting excited about this one. It just sounds to me like it's a bunch of stuff we already have with a new shell on it. It's something that I will have to wait an see if it is worth it. They could have at least put one NEW object on the cover.

I don't see why people who have ambitions and generations are excited, since a lot of the items are already in those games, but for me I'm actually interested (once the price lowers.) I mean I will get washers, dryers, a springy toy, a sandbox, AND a tree house!!! That seems like a good deal to me for like 10ish dollars.

Color me totally, completely, absolutely underwhelmed. We already have gyms, parks, and play equipment, and the clothes look like the same ol' same ol'. **yawn**

Same. I have all that stuff. This is just different designs for the same things. Pass.

I hope that grocery store isn't the only new rabbithole. I really like what I'm seeing. I don't generally care for modern architecture, but this stuff really combines to create a fun, hip atmosphere. The new buildings are lovely. The grocery store looks like some organic hippie store that you see in many neighborhoods. I'm definitely going to buy this one.

Why does this Stuff Pack look better than Generations? o_o

That isn't saying much, though. It's still just a Stuff Pack. It's just this Stuff Pack gets properly labeled and priced as so.

I don't buy Stuff Packs, but this one gives a lot of the objects that came with Generations and more for half the price. That's pretty neat. This is certainly the best Stuff Pack yet.

Boring..........I'm so not interested in this stuff pack. The only thing I like are the washer and dryers..oh well :(

I think the Fast Lane Stuff pack is my favorite - new cars, new music, hairstyles, clothes, it also has a nice theme that really represents the 1950s which I thought was pretty cool

Maybe I'll get it when it comes in a dual-pack like Outdoor Living Stuff and Town Life Stuff (or some future boring one) LOL that way I won't have to pay as much for two.

The first shot looks like an Ambition's shot.. I'm kinda dissapointed EA is including EP content in SPs, but at the same time, it opens up that door for people who like content over gameplay elements added.

Those windows (the round ones) are from Sims 1! They were all different colors though. I used them a lot.

I instantly recognized those windows, I miss them!! They might be the only reason I buy this SP because I can never install anything I DL from MATY.

Oh my god, I recognized them too! They were so easy and they matched everything, ironically. Always used those!
