I think it's awesome how you keep expanding it. Would you ever consider putting in some of the classic areas of Twikkii Island? Bamboo section, temples section, that sort of thing?
From Sims 2 Bon Voyage? I'm making everything from scratch, but Coconut Island definitely needs a temple. How's this?
How about a cluster of them?

Love that water park and the duckayyzzzz! Which waterfalls were you using for that?
I used "Waterfall 1 - Short" in CAW effects and tilted them around a little bit.
Who wants a lot of pictures?
Spoiler:
The now lit up waterfall at Splash Park, The School House with space for a rabbit hole rug/door, The Stables(we might get horses with pets based on the leaked video, so why not?), a new bungalow on the hill, Breezy Palm Cafe, Small renovations at The Blue Moon, a lovely picnic spot at the new pond, the market storage silo, City Hall with investigators office and included space for a rabbit hole rug/door,

Right now the temples are empty. The largest is "Tomb of the Coco Nut". The medium one, "Tomb of the Elders" and the smallest is, "Tomb of the Llamas". They're going to be opened to the public, so you can explore them right form the start. Kind of like how Point Pleasant is set up. I'm also moving the relics register over to a small little stand by them, so it all feels like a little tourist trap! But of course they may have some secrets...
With the pets expansion, we're going to be able to control them now, so horses shouldn't be stuck to the roads. It would be really cool if we could lock them in at the new Stables and take them out when we want to ride them(should be easily doable if we can control them. Move them into the stables with food and interaction then lock the gates). I may even create little places to lock your horses up in each area. Horses on Coconut Island? I'm down!

CBS: Tell us more about the game. What can the fans expect?
Ben Bell: For the first time in the history of The Sims series, player can take control over your pet and live his story. We always want to know, what Fido or Fluffy think, when we come home late from work or when we take them on a walk around the park. The game enables us to do that and the pets also have traits, so that players can create their own, perfect pet – just like their Sims.
I hope strollers aren't restricted to roads. Except...strolling through the Dunes might get the kids a little wet.
Swat, do you have WA yet?

Yes but remember for pets that the animals weren't directly controllable! Still it will be amazing! Coconut island will/is actually starting to feel like it is developing slowly, with all of the additions your making. This is something that I invisioned the actual game to do by itself - like, expand, grow and develope, if you knwo what I mean. your island does this. EAs hoods do not. Round of applause for you!

Not yet! But I may buy it soon. I gotta be strategic. I can't inturrupt finals with a new EP, which will be June 13-17 (we get out REALLY late) and I'm still figuring out all of Ambitions. But, hopefuly in the near future! I probably will get Generations. But it all depends on when I'm gonna be away this summer and if i find a job.

where do i install this? :)
You double-click it and it should install itself through the launcher.
I have a question for those of you that play(ed) this... can your sims own a venue? Like, ANY lot?
I have this issue where I can't. I don't get the option to purchase it when I click on it (I remember it was a possibility), and when I "Check Real Estate" on the computer, the usual menu pops up, but there are no venues, no community lots, no nothing! However, I can become a partner to the rabbit holes (I added the option of rabbit holes to some of the lots through the special rugs and doors). But nothing venue-related!
I don't think it's something about my game, because if I go to the save game I played before (Bridgeport), I don't have this issue. So, I suppose it's something connected to this world?
Please help, if you have any ideas about how to get this option back.

You can also install it manually and bypass the launcher by downloading the .world version and putting it in, The Sims 3\GameData\Shared\NonPackaged\Worlds (remember to remove it when installing a new update)
Roshky, I just tested and I was able to purchase the lots. Do you have enough money? I don't think the option to buy will show up without enough. Check one of the beach lots, they're under $20,000. Many of the venues are really expensive, some reaching up to 200,000. I also checked to make sure the computers allow you to check up on the real estate and all was good. There are a total of 31 properties you can buy. I may of miscounted by one or two, but that's a lot!

I already considered that... I made my sims have 900,000 Simoleons, just in case the lots were uber-expensieve... and still nothing! Tomorrow evening I'll try re-installing the game + the world. It might seem radical, but I want my Anthropology Museum filled with relics, and I want to own it!

...or you could download it now and keep it saved on your computer without installing, until you get WA. In case IggyJD03 replaces it.

Don't worry, 3.0 won't require Generations.

iggy, I downloaded the sims3pack you uploaded and when I ran it through custard by Delphy, there was a lot of custom content that came with the world. Maybe that's why Roshky is having trouble with trying to own the lot. There could be some conflict with custom content. I don't know, it's just a thought.
But I've yet to play the world. I just installed it after I cleared it of the custom content and had no problems there. I'm waiting for generations to start checking it out Right now I'm finishing up my sim legacy in Sunset Valley. So when I start in Coconut Island, I will be playing my 4th generation sim.
Oh and to answer your question if you will need generation to play it, you just might if you use it to continue building up Coconut Island. Otherwise it might not load up. I'm not too sure about stuff pack though. It probably will just replace with default items.

Update: Removed the CC! Please redownload. Let me know if it's definitely clean. Thanks Azara, I don't know why it's including CC with the world when none of those objects are used on Coconut Island. Strange!

In case anyone else ever has this problem... I solved the can't-buy-a-venue issue with a reinstall of the world. Yay! :D

I'm glad you got it working!
Anyone want a peak at Tomb of the Coco Nut?
Spoiler:
Recently turned into a tourist attraction, and now with a relics stand! Don't let the treasure tease you too much...
