Pretty sure it's a terrain paint. Which will totally screw up the neighbourhood when we do eventually get seasons and there's leaves on the glass all year around...

Although the leaves look really weird stretched over that hill, I'm glad it's a terrain paint. I'm actually glad that we will have a consistent theme type which isn't just flawless summer. In ts2 I used snow terrain paints a lot before seasons came out. Some lots/neighbourhoods just look better with a constant feel of a certain weather type, it just adds more atmosphere.

On a side note; you can tell this image is staged, at first glance it looks like the dog is helping the owner dig for something, on closer inspection, the dog has a stick in it's mouth, leading me to believe the dog is just burying a stick, and the two actions are totally separate to eachother.

They're trolling us with that.

Actually, I don't know. I have no clue why they wouldn't hold these trees off until the Seasons EP. It doesn't make any sense.

I really do like the idea of autumn and a not constant summer atmosphere.

About the dog and the person digging, of course it's rigged. But at the same time, they did show somthing similar in the trailer, and the dog was shown helping it's owner find missing treasure. I'm sure it's staged, but at the same time, it may just be a feature. I can't be sure. Eitherway, the dirt looks much better than it did in Sims 2.

Also about the cat, it almost looked like it was painted afterwards. Look at it's elbow. It almost looks like someone pained too far and dyed the background aswell. As if they dyed it's fur in photoshop.

Otherwise, I think the dg looks REALLY good and REALLY realistic. It has a solid breed and colors, a lot better than how Sims 2 did it.

We will.

It, aside from pets, was the best seller of the franchise. EA likes money, and we like seasons. They'd be stupid NOT to do seasons again.

Actually, no. EA only have more room for 1 more stupid EP. Seasons won't be next because thats two big block busters next to eachother. But EA is capible of releasing two good EPs next to eachother. I mean, they released WA AMB and LN in a line. I loved all of those! (Never got WA, but it's good i guess.)

The thing is, my perspective is swayed, because I didn't dislike any Sims 2 EPs, and I don't really dislike Generations either!

My in-game cats and dogs look nothing like the two in this screenshot. These two look beautiful, my dogs & cats in the game are hard-edged blobs. So disappointed. The horses look great, though.
