Post Pop Culture / Hidden References
How many little things have people spotted that are obvious references to real-world things? The four I've been able to find after a very quick skim through of the catalogue:
Image

We have "Rainbows! Lasers! Cats!" which is pretty obviously Nyan Cat-related, the "Three Dog M[Text Deleted]", a play on the Three Wolf Moon picture, a certain unicorn that made an appearance in Despicable Me whose name is aptly titled "I'm So Fluffy!", and "Sir Bricks-a-lot Jr.", the apparant son of Sir Bricks-a-lot from TS2.

I already knew that numbers 1, 2 and 4 were in the game, but number 3 took me completely by surprise. I'm still kind of laughing about it now. :gig:
Spoiler:

[edit]
I'm So Fluffy! has a My Little Pony-esque butt marking as well.

Minus the fluffy, I COMPLETELY noticed the other three. I feel awesome! :D I noticed a long time ago when they released all the images from the game items.

The poster in the game is a parody of a T-shirt that features three wolves howling at a moon. Someone wrote a funny mock-review of the shirt on Amazon, which started a line of silly reviews from other people, and eventually the image itself became an "internet phenomenon". It's been parodied all over the place (Star Wars, World of Warcraft, with cats, Portal 2, and others).

If you have the Limited Edition of Pets, one of the 'exclusive' items you can buy from the pet store is a hard fabric thing that cats can hide in that is obviously a Koopa shell from Mario. It's called "It's A Me Kitty!"
I'll get a picture of it when I start the game up next.
