I agree.

I think a soul is the patterning of energy that makes you conscious. I don't know how separate or interwoven it is from the rest of your energy, like your body heat. I think all energy disperses from you when you die, and is reused for other life. Not exactly reincarnation because I don't think your soul stays that much in tact. But I do think it's possible for some of it to stay together, though. I think residual hauntings and out of body experiences and "past lives" are theoretically possible because of this, but I don't think you go up to some fluffy white clouds and hang out and chat with your dead relatives. Some people might think this is depressing, but I don't, because I think our purpose here is to enjoy life and do your best to impact the world for future generations, even if in a very small way. Just showing simple kindness in your everyday life can have a very powerful effect, more than I think most people realize or care to acknowledge.

Yeah, I've believed in reincarnation since I was a little kid, before I really understood heaven/ hell. It always just made more sense to me.

I believe we just cease to exist. Which is why I'm afraid to die.

I'm not sure. I'm split on whether I hope we go to Heaven or get reincarnated. Thinking about dying is scary so I try not to think much about it, honestly. XD

I'd like to believe in heaven because I like to think that my cat Harlequin and my dad's parents are all happy in some sort of ethereal paradise, but I really think that people just end.

I believe in reincarnation too. And i think in people can be some things left from their previous lives. Like you would really like to fly or enjoy heights so maybe you have been a bird or a flying insect? I know that sounds silly but that's just how i feel.
When you die you leave your body as a soul and maybe "teleport" to some place where you wait for you new life to begin.
Maybe there could me like a scale that weights your good and bad deeds (like in the ancient religion) and that determinates the baseline for your next life. I don't wanna believe that if i'm a really nice girl, in the next life i would be a cow. So it's not like Hinduism.
So that's what i believe in. Heaven just sounds so simple and yet so...I mean what are you in heaven? do you stay the same forever? do you have memories from your life on earth?
If someone could i would like to know how people who believe in heaven and hell think about those things.

It really scares me tbh but basically my thoughts are, there is some kind of afterlife or there wouldn't be so much importance put on it through history. I also think what sort of afterlife we have depends on our actions on earth for example if you're a good person you'll have a good afterlife and vice versa...
