 Re: Talk about anything yo.
http://thegleeprojectcasting.com/Auditions/View/5296640 The girl that went to my high school http://thegleeprojectcasting.com/Auditions/View/268548 The original video that my friend parodied. My friend was teasing it because it's just so obnoxious and petty when people think they're so special and entitled to sob treatment because they think their typical "TROUBLESOME EXPERIENCES" aren't so typical. especially when it's all... "i wuz teased in school. dat means i wuz bullied a lot. it wuz rly traumatic 4 me." wellnoshit show me some one who hasn't been teased and I will give them a hershey kiss with a balloon attached to it. The Alana girls audition was just so cliche. She went all batshit about my friend on her tumblr, which to be honest, isn't that professional. I'm sure Glee would want some one both talented, and able to handle constructive criticism, parodies, and actual hate. Something Alana is missing. She can sing, probably act, but her personality and criticism skills are vastly lacking. Sure, my friends video wasn't nice - but it was a parody. One parody. Famous people are parodied all the time. Rebecca Black, a little CHILD handles her countless hate more maturely than Alana. If this Alana girl cant' handle one parody, how on earth does she expect to be famous? The more famous she get's, the more kinds of attention she'll get - positive and negative. And it isn't going to be pretty.

Good god, she reminds me of Lindsay so bad. "I'm so pretty but everyone hates me because of that, I had entire groups fighting over me in high school, poor me!"

That's not what I thought a parody was, she just lip-synced it.

 Re: Talk about anything yo.
well it's not what is literally typically a parody but I don't know how else to properly call it, she basically lip-synched it out of mocking satire. :B
I thought my friends video was funny, despite being mean, but at the same time, there's been meaner, and the source (Alana) isn't entirely a total saint either. Obviously there was a reason that my friend wanted to poke fun at her, and that was because she and other people were so fed up with Alana's attitude and the "im such an underdog no1 luvs me im a unique snowflake no 1 goez through my problemz" tone. Perhaps my friend took it a bit too far, but these things happen to famous people all the time. It was originally just a facebook video but then I guess she and her friends decided to put it up on the real site. Alana's singing is great and all, but she doesn't really stand out to me for audition material. Just a laughable cliche sob story that nearly everyone goes through. There's so many other amazing and humble auditions on that site and my friend genuinely applauds them.
@Draike, bwaha exactly. It's so obnoxious. We all have problems, and they suck a lot, but I just find it pretentious when people try to use their problems to their advantage for some sort of attention.

Guess who's college campus had the pleasure of being picketted by the westboro baptist church today!!?!?
I think it was Shirley, her daughters jael and margie, and some random guy. Thankfully there were no children holding signs... That would of really pissed me off.
It's too bad there were too many people around to really argue with them :[

 Re: Talk about anything yo.
hahaha I knowww its funny like I was looking forward to seeing them bc they are like famous.... I just wanted to see them in person picket and I got too. It was pretty much exactly what you'd expect. God hates fags, thank god for dead soldiers, thank god for 9/11, etc.
Because after all the God of the christian faith sending Muslim hijackers on september 11th seems rational enough. I just wish I could have talked to them so bad! People were shouting "shirley show your dick! shirley show your dick!" and stuff. Good times.
EDIT: I hope they release GTA V before dec. 21st 2012 so we can play it before doomsday.

 Re: Talk about anything yo.
I got a photo of them as I was crossing the street to the side they were on and it was pretty good too. Megan (shirleys daughter) is smiling in it. Shes such a sweet heart <3
They'll probably picket us every year bc Ohio state university is one of the biggest schools in the US. So I will probably be seeing them again.

i saw a video on youtube of a guy who started a fundraiser right beside their picket and he sent all the funds to charities that WBC targets specifically.

 Re: Talk about anything yo.
I know this doesn't really have anything to do with what people are talking about right now, but I feel I need to vent even though nobody will probably read this, I feel it will be beneficial for myself to do it. I basically am so confused and alone at the moment. I did something pretty...wrong for a better word, and when I think about it I don't know if it was a good or a bad thing. I feel physically sick and the person that was involved seems to care very little. I struggle showing people emotion. Ever. Hence the online venting. I would hazard a guess at not being the only one who has issues with this, but I feel so alone and scared and I'd go far enough to feel like I just want to curl into a ball and dissapear. My friends are still close to me, but they never see me as anything but 'the funny clownish one'. But I have issues, I just hide them. Or execute them terribly. There is a lot of tension in our friendship group at the moment and its hard to decide who to turn to with anything incase they doublecross. I know. It sounds like a massive drama. Which is another thing that I fucking hate. Yet I'm here in it. Its an internal drama. I won't let it out.
I've told certain people my issues. Four to be exact - two out of four reacted badly. I don't even know if it was badly, because I have nothing to compare it to. I just. Don't know. If you've actually read this this far then I thank you. Any replies would be appreciated, even though I haven't even told anyone what I've done or what this is about. Its just so hard. I hate myself.

I know I have a hard time sharing my emotions and thoughts with people. Like you said, the thought of being doublecrossed is terrible. Well more like actually being doublecrossed since been there, done that and not willing to risk it often. I hope you do find someone to share your issue with who will listen and not sell you out. :]

 Re: Talk about anything yo.
Yeah charlie I had a big group of friends who I kind of messed things up with and then I lost them all and we went to separate colleges etc. We don't even occasionally check in on eachother.
We all do stupid shit, and life's a learning process. Just scream and cry in a pillow and then try to stop thinking about it. Just know that we've all felt alone sometimes and if you feel like being sad about it and crying, it doesn't make you weak. It's perfectly normal.
Life is a bitch even for us first world country people :[
I kind of had to give vague advice bc I'm not exactly sure what you are upset about. Tomorrows a new day and you can always play sims 3 pets to take things off your mind.

 Re: Talk about anything yo.
Speaking of colleges... I'm quite annoyed at the moment because the one person that I actually know who was planning on going to the same uni as me decided to go somewhere else because a group of my other friends are going there and now they're all going to be living together. The university they're all going to is ranked as one of the worst in the state, and it's out in the middle of nowhere, but they're going there because apparently the cost of renting a 5 bedroom house is cheaper than a 1 bedroom apartment at where I'm going. Less than $150 a week for a 5 bedroom house seems totally legitimate.
I've passed that stage where I realise that high school friends get replaced quicker than primary school friends did, but it would have been nice to at least know someone when I move.

 Re: Talk about anything yo.
That is a bummer, but this boy that goes to my college that I knew from high school deleted his facebook, then he added it again and added me as like one of the first people he added. AND his fb now says he's homo. AND he's an atheist. I want to like strike up a convo with him on fb but I don't want to be weird but UGH. I always told my friends in high school I thought he was gay too.
Anyway yeah its very nice to know people where you go, but even though I see some friends frequently and my brother maybe once a week, I still made most of my friends in my apartment complex. So hopefully you make friends with the people in your apartment.

I'm in love with Kate Bush. I relate to her music so well. And I've only heard like, four or five of her songs. I can't wait to hear everything!
