I've dated boys, and I know its controversial, but it isn't something I chose to be.

I know a lot of nonstraights wouldn't say this, but I'd LOVE to be straight and accepted by everyone.
It just doesn't work that way, I guess.

Some people who are against homosexuality usually use the argument that its unnatural and God (whatever religious entity they regard) frowns upon it. With that argument, I think at the end of the day its for God to decide, for God to punish. NOT humans. I did a report on hate crimes for criminology and the level of hatred, the depths people go to, to "punish" homosexuals was for a lack of a better word amazing to discover. Some resorted to trickery, posing to be gay to lure their "prey" in. That level of premeditated actions is astonishing. In Jamaica (and I'm sure other countries too) there is a particular area that gay people can not go to or they will be beaten within an inch of their lives/killed. It's their past-time to "bun all batty boi". I don't think all that's called for. I just think its wrong to take it into your own hands if alternative livestyles disturbs you. As a heterosexual, I accept that people have different preferences, I may not always understand it (transexuals, cross-dressers) but at the end of the day it's their lives to live. To each their own.

Im straight but i dont see anything wrong with bein gay..Gays were created as a population controll and the bible says to love everyone unconditionaly..People shud really lookl up on there stuff before they start sayin god will send gays to hell..And about racisom everyone gets outraged if a white says nigger but blacks can be sayin to kill all whites and no one even pays atention..A test was done that blacks are the second most racist..Asians first....

Yeah hate will never leave. My brother makes me want to punch a wall in sometimes. He uses stereotypes all the time it drives me crazy!!! Everything I do has a gender to it. If I act out of gender, he will let me know, and tell me I'm being gay. He thinks any song that is sung by a girl, should only be listened to by girls, otherwise you are gay apparently.
My brother also talked about his friend who punched a guy just because he thought he was gay recently, which I'm pretty sure is a hate crime.

stereotypes and prejudice and discrimination are a part of life though. I hate it when people let xenophobia get to them.
It made me sad to know that people committed hate crimes against muslims after 9/11. As if they were all out to kill us. You would think people would learn from the past but they never do.

I can't really attack them, since I know a lot of people who are like.
"Oh, black people scare me!" It's a common feeling ..
But that also doesn't give them the right to infringe on others' rights.

If God didn't approve of it, I don't understand why he would have created gays this way.

I guess it's similar with pedofiles. I don't know much about this, but I'd asume so. Like, I'm not saying it's ok like being gay, but if you found out someone had issue with that or something (Yeah... I really know nothing more than the definition, so this could be way off) most people would assume they're a mass child raping maniac.

Wait... what? That doesn't even make any sense. Pedophiles, child rape, and peoples' opinions on them are entirely irrelevant to hate crimes, considering pedophilia is illegal in itself, and being gay is... not.
