I haven't named any at all but my new computer that I'm building, I'm gonna call it Shiva.

My current laptop, which transforms into a tablet-hybrid, well I have no name right now but I think I'll all it Lazlo.

Yes I do!

My only computer right now is my desktop, Jennifer. My laptops have been Jimmy, Jason, and Jackie. I named my tablet Bumblebee because it is an Asus Transformer.

I think I named my first laptop something really weird, but I honestly can't remember what it was called.
I therefore dub it Frankenstein's Dell because it's been cobbled together from various different parts as the original hardware has been failing through the years, it's still functional despite the fact that it's been resurrected from the dead countless times and it looks all beaten up.

I was actually just having a conversation with one of my coworkers about naming appliances after she asked me what my new coffee machine was called... we eventually settled on calling it $haniqua (the dollar sign is important, like Ke$ha)

I joked about calling my new computer Chrysalis because it's got blue and green LEDs in the fans that make the whole thing glow turquoise and the front panel is made out of this honeycomb mesh, but it's grown on me so I guess that's its name.

(BTW Shiva is a ridiculously perfect name based on the specs you posted)

I do! My current laptop's name is Serra after Inara Serra in Serenity/Firefly. My desktop's name is Calvin. I know I named it when Ayo, and Laura were here. My extra laptop's nameless. I never named it. Actually it was a shared one with my Dad. Now my Mom uses it more or less. I had another laptop with a name but I'm not sharing that one's name. :P My kindle's name is Kendra. Because it's similar to kindle yet Kendra reminds me of Wilkinson who seems like the kind of personality my kindle would have. And my phone is named Toby. My phone is old as shit and indestructible. Which is funny because I think of a Toby as being a pansy name. XD I name everything haha. When I was a kid all my dolls had names, and most of my stuffed animals.

$haniqua is a hilarious name, kinda fitting I guess for a coffee machine.

OH GUYS, additionally, were there any reasons (to those who didn't post any reasons) as to why you chose that name for that thing? I guess I could say I chose Shiva, not based on what was going into the machine but just because I'll be multitasking on it as well as off this lovely piece of art. As for Lazlo, well, I just had it in my head and I really like Camp Lazlo.

Oddly enough, I've never named any of my electronics, even though I've outright anthropomorphized virtually everything else I own. Somehow my Wii already had a name when I got it even though it was new, and it was the same name as mine.

My mom's espresso maker is a Silvia and her two grinders are Mazzer and Rocky, so the other day my mom and I sat around naming and anthropomorphizing every other thing in the Coffee room. The really weird thing with Silvia is it's apparently very common for people to come up with personalities for their Silvias, to the point that some of her reviews sound like they're describing an actual person.
Because of that conversation I've been contemplating naming my computer and iPad Berenice and Pictoris, respectively. Berenice because the constellation Coma Berenices has a bit of meaning to me, and Pictoris 'cause I draw a lot on my iPad and it matched the star "theme".

Mine are kind of lame: my desktop computer is called Compy and my laptop is called Lappy. BUT I did specifically name them Compy and Lappy because of an online cartoon called Strongbad. So I did have my reasons. :)

Maybe I will name my iPad something cool...
