Clasp your hands together, interlacing all your fingers. Now look down, which is on top, your left or right thumb? Now try it with the other thumb on top. It feels wrong doesn't it? (If it doesn't you're apart of like a 1% that has no preference)

I know, this sounds random. I was reading information about inheritance of traits and this was among them. Some say it's passed down. Most don't believe it. A few weeks ago I had people doing this. Out of my parents, me and my three sisters, two of my nephews, and my sister's boyfriend, everyone placed their left thumb over except for me, my older sister, and my sister's boyfriend.

And handedness apparently has nothing to do with this. Out of everyone I got to do this, everyone is right handed except my sister's boyfriend. :P

My right thumb is usually on top, and it feels fine both ways. *me joins 1% woo*

Left hand is on top, and kinda feels weird the other way, yeah.

Left on top and left handed for everything (except computer mouse)

Right on top feels weird.

Haha. Yeah it is. I thought it was interesting and then everyone in my family did it. They thought it was neat too. XD I guess I just find it interesting that handedness has nothing to do with it and if you do it with the other thumb on top (usually) it feels weird.
