I recently joined LJ, but I am a liiiiiitle confused. :P If I want to post something in a community, does it also post it in my journal? Such as, if I do a Maxis_Taste dare, and post it to the community, when you click on the link (LJ cut) does it redirect to my journal?

Or am I supposed to post it in my journal first, and then post in the community? I have no idea! :-P and I don't want to mess things up!

Posting it in a community will post it in the community only.

I posted something in a community, then I wanted to post a second post, they deleted my post and told me only one post per week for every story. So I went and posted it in my own LJ, and it didn't post in the community.
