Rules & Terms for Roleplay
1) Control: You are allowed to control someone's character in your post but don't go overboard. Don't make huge decisions, do major things for them, etc.. unless you have their permission. If you're not sure they'd mind then ask.
2) Killing/injuring: No killing or seriously injuring someone else's character unless you have their permission.
3) Perfectionism: Don't make your character perfect. Perfect characters are annoying. Please refrain from doing this. A character that is extremely beautiful, always has good things happen to them, extremely smart, etc... will tick others off.
4) Roleplay isn't reality: If someone's character calls another person's character a name, picks fights with them frequently or isn't overly nice to them, don't take it personally. It's only in the roleplay. If you think it's not then PM the creator of the RP or a staff member.
5) PG-13: Extreme violence & sexual acts are not allowed. Now your characters are free to be romantically involved but use your common sense. If you wouldn't do it in real life in public then don't describe it in the roleplay. You can elude to things that have happened though behind closed doors, however.
6) OOC: Stands for Out of Character. You may post out of character. All posts out of character need to clearly state they are such by using the ooc tag. Like perhaps to say something without being in character or to ask a question. Like so: Out of Character: "Hey what did I miss while I was on vacation?" or "I'll be away a few days guys."
7) Creator rights: The creator of the roleplay controls the RP. Consider them like a mod of the topic. They can change the RP, end it, etc.. as long as they are following board rules themselves.
8) NPCS: You may control NPCs. This means Non controllable players. An example of an NPC would be a waitress at a restaurant who takes your order, a clerk at a store or a lifeguard on the beach. They are not to be interacted with for very long. However, a NPC may become a playable character if you ask permission of the creator of the RP.

Kristin, I think roleplays should get their own sub-forum as they're gonna get stuck somewhere between all the chatterbox stuff.

Are we allowd to make our own RP? i'd love to make a futuristic type, kinda like Mass Effect :3

I like the color you went with, green wouldn't show up very well on the default style and yeah.

We REALLY need to slow down on the posting. Time is moving too fast within the realm of the current roleplay, and some of us are getting left behind.

I dont know how we could do that? And i do agree with you, i mean i have a good idea onlt to find that i can no longer do it because the people that are to be involved have now dispersed, and its a day later.

Lol I just started but I do agree. It's like the day changes after every other post or so. I mean I know everyone has their own ideas and such but maybe we could just spend a little more time developing the story and not move from day to day so fast. It's pretty hard to keep up D:

I definitely agree. At this rate I'll never be able to keep up. *cry* Everyone is off doing their own thing and then moving to another thing and yet another and another.

Maybe we could set out a distinct time in the roleplay?
One RP days could be 2 real life ones.
Or 1:1 if that's too slow.

ahh you beat me to the idea! I think 2 real days would be a little too-long and the roleplay would progress too slowly, maybe one real day should be one rpg day, and we should have a certain time where the day changes, so you have to wrap up your day's ideas by then? We could set a certain time, it would just have to depend on your time zone what time it is?
