I think Late night was amazing as it was, but that's because I love the vamps, celebs and Bridgeport. Not much love for them from sims 3 fans. I think they couldn't have put much more into that ep so this Showtime will make a good expansion in itself hopefully, If they put everything into one then it might be like Pets which has lots of new stuff but unfortunatly i've seen lots of posts on the sims 3 forums from people with serious glitches and crashes from that ep. Mine seems to work atm, thankfully but i feel sorry for the other simmies out there

I imagine watching your sims do magic tricks will be boring after a while.

. . .
I honestly have nothing to say about how completely empty and terrible this expansion pack's going to be.

Re: The Sims 3: Showtime Announced!!!
maybe after all the misery EA have put us through we've all just become really boring and bored of anything new?
maybe all of the ideas in the new expansions respect the views and ideas of kids these days, 10-14 year olds like x factor? because that sims 3 forum is full of crazy kids wanting stuff and EA ARE doing polls and insisting that they are listening to their fans. maybe they are listening to the wrong fans?

Your probably right, EA listens on the new young fans and not the old fans from Sims 1,2 Era which is kinda
But anyway i just wanted to say that Gameinformer have 9 new Screenshots of Showtime if anyone want to see it....

Starlight Shores looks kind of like Sunset Valley.... also EA is doing a terrible job in PR... It's half way through January and the game comes out in march, and we barely know anything. If they're trying to go the Rockstar route and stay silent to build hype it isnt working... at all

Definetly not. No one cares. If they're trying to hold back information to make us excited its... well they're being stupid. It's only making us feel like the expansion pack isn't worth buying.

I don't think it's that they're holding back information, but they've run out of information to give us. Put on a magic/singing/acrobat show and then go tell Facebook about it.
...that's pretty much all it is.

Re: The Sims 3: Showtime Announced!!!
we'll see Thursday what it has to offer, they doing a live walkthrough.
but yeh they've shown all there is to show.
I'm not going to say this expansion is bad or good, i'm just not going to buy it (I watch lazy game reviews to double check but his opinion does not affect my choice as i did not buy generations
Not really, theres still the town and the creature to show. There must be more to this ep than what we've seen *I hope*

Re: The Sims 3: Showtime Announced!!!
You know that boycott that's happening that isn't going to do any good. A good way to get a message to EA is if we didn't buy this expansion... If their profits drop maybe they'll notice.

They should be listening to us cause we actually have the money to go out and buy the stuff they make.
