I feel the same. I think it's cos seasons was pretty much a given, so many people had been asking for it so EA would have to create seasons. But with supernatural its new and exciting and i think that makes me want it even more :)

Re: The Sims 3 Supernatural: Discussion Thread
the thing that pisses me off the most about this EP is that im not one bit interested in the actual gameplay. In fact, i kind of hate creatures.... But so many of the build/buy objects look so good, like the numerous signs for buildings, building accents, phone booth etc. It's like any builders dream. And im now debating whether or not to buy it for that stuff alone or not......

Re: The Sims 3 Supernatural: Discussion Thread
Well, I figure that is part of why they'll add checkboxes to disable new supernaturals(and celebrities for Late Nights owners) from spawning to your towns when unchecked, as part of this expansion for those who do not wishes to deal with supernaturals in their realism-themed savegames.
I think they'll also add such checkboxes for pets, so perhaps I'll stop seeing wild horses running in the middle of the streets when I play.
Horses do fit in themed neighborhoods like Apaloosa Plains.... but they really don't anywhere else, and it gets tiring to see your immersion broken when your Sim walk out of their job at this modern business center in bridgeport... and an horse just suddenly pass by with their herd.

I waited till Showtime was under $20 before buying it purely for the objects and genies

I just wonder if we'll ever get blind dates?
Most of my TS2 sims found their husband/wife using blind dates.

Most of my TS2 sims found their husband/wife using blind dates. With Sims 3 Seasons, you can according to Ryan Vaughan on SIMSVIP! http://simsvip.com/?p=13795Quote: Q: Will there be new romantic interactions? A: Yes, there are a variety of new romantic interactions in this expansion. Your Sims can ask for a kiss beneath the mistletoe, send love letters, use the love tester machine and even create online dating profiles!

SQUEEEEEEEEEE~~~~~~~!!!
I saw that in the survey someone posted a few months ago about possible additions to a sims season expansion pack. I can't wait to see the craziness that ensues from online dating.
Thanks, chippy :D

lovcat wrote: Thanks, chippy :D You're welcome!! I cannot wait to see how that works too! I think it's going to be pretty much like today's dating world: You browse each Sims' personality traits profiles, see what they look like, chat with them, and then set up a meeting somewhere! This is going to be great :)

Re: The Sims 3 Supernatural: Discussion Thread
By the way, has anyone read the translated french website with a Supernatural preview, that is linked at SimsVIP?
There has been screenshots of Sims turned into Toad-people by a witch on SimsVIP itself, and in fact in the french website they mention a new Lifetime goal to cure "changed" Sims, "Whether they were turned into a toad, a zombie or a tragic clown".
Could this be the hidden surprise not mentionned yet for people familiar with the Sims 1?

Could this be the hidden surprise not mentionned yet for people familiar with the Sims 1? Unless I was mistaken the tragic clown was mentioned as an alchemy potion or a high level spell. I forget but I remember it being said in one of the chats and thinking. "Not that damn clown again." lol
