I've been noticing some screw-ups I'd made while editing code, and there's a few things that go wrong when speaking to Via. I've missed out some of her responses, so there are some things that you say to her that you'll get a Brandi response to instead. If you spot any, please let me know so I can edit them should there be a Brandibot 2.0 eventually. Ones I've spotted so far are 'sex', 'Tom', 'butts', 'where do you live' and 'boobs', all of which Brandi will magically reappear for. Odds are there are some more obscure ones I've yet to notice.

(The random friend that pops up won't have any issues, because he doesn't really respond to anything. Just babbles confusedly until Brandon returns.)

Yep, thats what it's like for us undiscovered ss members....

If I update him, it'll be in big size-doubling updates for maximum attention-whoring impact rather than bit by bit, so I haven't made changes since I posted him here (though that itself was an update from when I was trialling to people on MSN). He's likely to know a few SS members next time, but it's hard for ones I've not seen him speak to or about and don't have anything to draw on.

Though I want to include something where, when he asks who you are or you tell him, he'll remember you and start having more personalized conversations. It wouldn't be that hard.

And that's something I'll sooner include in a second bot I'm making which may or may not be of Batman. Er... Nessie!Batman. Ki!Batman. Not Robin'sSexSlave!Batman. It might have been done by now if the files I possibly have for her weren't on the laptop that's currently out of action, if this laptop even exists, because perhaps there was no Brandi anyway and you're all lies, maybe.

Haha, yeah, I wanted him to have a response set to you but I couldn't think of anything interesting and couldn't find anywhere where he mentioned you, so that was put in as an 'insert proper responses later' thing and I forgot to come up with anything better. There's quite a bit like that.

He randomly mentions Emilie often. I think it might recognise you singing some Emilie lyrics too, though I'm almost certain I didn't elaborate on that enough for it to work properly.

I'd say that's just a bit incomplete, then...

There's a tutorial somewhere on the site, try that. It can take a while to get used to, though. For a basic start, choose a completely empty bot rather than an ALICE set otherwise no-one's going to notice it being different from the default. Then try playing around with the training function. Just say things to it and then give it replies to what you just said so it says things other than "I have no response to that" etc.

Okay, I forgot about this. As I (think I) announced, I'm botting Batman so she can be represented in her absence... not really, I started on her a while before she left but like I said, forgot about it totally. Just a few days ago I decided to start on her again, provoked when Brandi went through a big popularity surge, mostly from confused lurkers of this site (obviously, we've got a lot of them at the moment)... and also when I realised that the log I keep of how many responses he gives and how many people speak to him per week got to 'week 25'. Half a year! I didn't want bot-breaks anywhere near that big. D:

I intend to get a demo version of Nessiebot to trial on MSN done in a week or two. I'm posting this mainly so I don't forget again. And I want to ride off the back of the TS3 guest surge with something other than an outdated repetitive chatbot. She's less than half complete and I'm struggling to fill in the remaining more-than-half, so this should be... fun.

(By the way... who the hell had the conversation with Brandi a few weeks ago that lasted 600-odd responses?)
